Stunning 6:1 victory, keeps my team sharp and in first place. Although goal margin between 1 and 2 is ~3-5 goals, it is still not clear who will take bucket aka trophy.

CL: victory for interesting group phase ending, still 4 points margin is nothing unless both next matches are won

CUP: rematch after 3:0 victory is intersting, 2nd crew will play, draw is expected, although victory would be great. morale problems seems to be big issue and injuries, lately 5 players were OUT OF PITCH. After rage and beer less care is given by me :trololol:

So when you play an opponent who also likes to shift formations in counter to their foe...

How do you plan for the match? Do you pick a formation and go with it?
Do you try to outwait your opponent and pick last?

All my players have 2 or 3 positions except MC and ST. So I can play any formation I like and keep my best players in the first 11, very flexible and rotatable. Great for injuries as well as you can just switch players back to cover while you bring on a fresh player and not worry about him being out of position. It's best to get as many positions as you can, that way you're covered for everything.

So even if my opponent changes formations to counter me, I can pretty much counter his formation during the match, making just 1 change.

It could well play like a 4-5-1 V if he has red arrows on his ML and MR. Better protect your flanks with DML and DMR just in case.

See how his attacks are formed in the match, if his ML/MR are getting a lot of action then use the blue arrows.

Butterfly can be a decent counter against it. On July's counter list it also says 3W-4-3 so you could try that too.. But it's up to you I would go butterfly. If it works then it's one to add to July's table

I saw the 3W-4-3 as well.... I have never run that....
