League, round 17 - Perfect Tactics 6-0 Ruben FC
9 points clear at the top of the table.
Ruben FC were in all sorts of problems and so were we after Petersen gave us the lead, he got *INJURED* after a nasty tackle from the defender (I should have seen this coming, considering the out of position players) and it saw him get sent off with a second yellow card. Crawford set up Mata for 2-0 and we were in control. Suarez gave us a 3 goal lead from the counter attack before Fabregas made it 4-0, another Crawford assist. Lamb made it 5-0 from a counter attack and then Cazorla scored via a deflection from the defender, but he won't care.
Goals: Petersen (12'), Mata (27'), Suarez (50'), Fabregas (60'), Lamb (79'), Cazorla (87')

How dare he injure Petersen..The guy was absolutely injury proof and some nooblet has gone and wrecked him.. But what's this? He's not injured any more! Magical red packs to the rescue!!!

Season 1 - 4th Place.... but hey....
The annual mid season slump hit Massie Lodge this morning. Playing at home against a Dutch opponent running 7th in the League the lads were held to a 1-1 draw. The long trip from Sassenheim had no affect on the opposition who played the narrow diamond against our 451V. The manager being absent must have had an adverse affect. The result still leaves us 8pts clear with a couple of lower table games coming up in the next 2 days.
The lads made amends in the CL first leg 1/4 final. Hosting an Albanian outfit who played 3W-5-2, we started playing the V formation with little affect & were level at 1-1 at half time. The manager who decided to turn up to this clash changed the formation at half time to 4-1-3N-1-1 which certainly had the right affect with 2 unanswered strikes in the second half giving Massie Lodge a 3-1 advantage going into the second away leg.
Tough time of the year, still in all 3 competitions & there are no easy games in any of them.

Big match against 2nd place tomorrow. A bit worried about that one, only beat him 2-0 at home and despite being better than him, he has had some good results this season. Can't afford to lose my unbeaten record.. He plays a 3N-2W-2N-1-2 so the butterfly and 4-5-1 V is out of the question. Instead, I'll play 3W-1-3W-2(AMC)-1 with Petersen and Cazorla playing behind Suarez. A win will almost guarantee the title and a loss will be a bit of a piss take and squeeky bum time as we still have to play 3rd and 4th place away... But we all know how the game engine behaves!!

Tomorrow is a bit of a boring day for T11, with it being day 20 of a season, meaning every manager has only got 1 league game as the cup takes a break between quarter-finals and the semi-finals, not sure what exactly the plan is for our team, 18 points ahead in the league, we could have this wrapped up with 6 games left of the season.

We had a good day today. Pepp was on fire with a total of 9 goals, 4 assists and 2 MOM awards.
It's been crazy.
CL we won 6 - 0 but lost a player to injury. He was just subbed in when they decided to take him on hard. The offender got send of with his second yellow of the match.
League we won 0 - 11 in second half we lost a MC to injury. (Bad day on injuries) But the fans got a show for their money.
Tommorrow players will get some well deserved rest for the first time this season.
Game is at 1-13pm so spend some time downloading old movies and reading books. only 1 game today since got defeated in cup. not fair since he was +20 stronger than me(expected that something will happen and we will be equal in that game).
is anyone celebrating birthday today?? I need some sugar
