So a decent 4-1 home leg win.... just hope that late away goal has no influence later...

Ouch! Just suffered my first ever training-related injury.... bound to happen....
It's a really nice young player I picked up yesterday.... don't ABSOLUTELY need him this
season... but he'll be a great asset next year... so I thought.... if I'm not going to use him in
the squad.... how about a little experimental power training.... d'oh! Oh well....
now the question is.... let him rest the 4 days or shorten it a bit with packs to get him back training?
Kinda feel like I should save packs for active players...
After a dry spell of 5 games without victory, I finally won in the League, 2-1 with a 89th minute header against the guy in 1st, we swapped positions on the league table. I actually had no expectations for this game after losing with very weak teams from the last positions. Especially since my opponent was watching the game and had three supporters with him.
Of course, the game HAD to somehow screw me, so the Champions League game took place only 15 minutes later, with no possible option to move any of these two games, and no boosters, so half of my team was nearly dead. Again, my opponent was online, with two supporters, and I played away. Lost 3-1, didn't stand a chance with my players all in such a bad shape and now, once again, no boosters.
Also, there's some Iraqi guy that hates me a lot, apparently, I beat him 5-1 in the CL with my reserves and stopped him in the group stage, quite unexpectedly, since he has a good team. Since then he's been supporting all my opponents in the CL, never losing a match. I really hate the supporters function, it makes no sense and I hate having to bug my friends about watching my games.
5-0 in CL, so we are in semi-final
and 4-0 in League!
i think my rival learned his place

Champions League quarter finals, 1st leg - Perfect Tactics 5-0 Avraz FC
We dominated the game and we had early chances to take the lead. First from Cazorla, his shot went wide then Petersen's free kick saved well by the goalkeeper. But it was Cazorla who gave us the lead, a wonderful long range strike beating the keeper. A few minutes later, Cazorla turned provider for Petersen who struck low past the helpless keeper. Javier Pina, an unlikely scorer gave us a 3-0 lead on 37 minutes from a counter attack. In the second half, we continued to dominate but it was shortly after the hour mark when we got the next goal, Petersen from a free kick into the top corner. Javier Pina got his second of the game when he got into a 1 on 1 position and made no mistake putting away the shot. That kills off any hope of a come back. In the next round where we play the other scout buyer or another guy.
Goals: Cazorla (27'), Petersen (29', 62'), Pina (37', 76')
MOTM: Petersen
Yeah it has lol, other scout buyer my only big challenge but I should beat him.
I can send you an invite through PM if you want to be on my island, you can have 2 accounts with the same name but you'll have to start again if you play on a different world, I'm afraid.
LOL : Laughing out loud ........

My Cl opponent
FC Zywiec 0-2 July Fourth Champions League Quarter-Finals 1st Leg
FC Zywiec 90.8 4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond - July Fourth 99.8 3N-4-1AMR-2Left/Center.
No Kevin Mensah? No Problem. I thought I would try my hand out at asymmetrical formations for this game, Played a MR and a AMR for this game and funnily enough it seem to do okay, we had plenty of attacks but not all of them ended up in the back of the net, 19 minutes in Zidane broke the Zywiec line of defence to find Papaleo who skillfully put the ball in the net, Crawford ad a chance a few minutes late but messed it up. Papaleo had another chance before half time but it was saved. 2nd half and the opponent used all 3 substitutions in 1 go and that back-fired for him as one of his players took an injury soon afterwards and he was playing with 10 men, Zidane, Papaleo and Crawford still continued to create chances but it was P.McNamara's strike late on that got us the goal after Papaleo played the cut-back to him. Opponent Manager as indicated was present, fair play to him.
Goals: Papaleo (19) P.McNamara (85) MOTM: Papaleo.
Barring a freak result at home, we should be playing in the semi-finals.
I was like that for a few seasons as well, a better away team than a better home team. But I think this season weve been much better at home than away.
Today I've been messing around with starting line-ups and formations etc, since I've lost a lot of interest in the rest of the season.
League: I stayed second after a 2-1 away win in the league against the 10th (already had problems with his tactics at the start of the league (0-1 away win for me). Tomorrow I play at the 5th in league, lost there at the start of season, so difficult challenge.
CL: I was a bit scared that my opponent won 7-1 in the last round and I was absent due to staying with friends, but the team did a great job and grabbed a 3-1 away win. :)
In the CL a player I could meet at first in the final started buying scouts and my current playmaker saw red in the CL today. So I changed my transfer policy and invested the Grepolis tokens:

Sheeesh... these refs today, I tell ya.... I need to see some more red cards for my opponents....
Bad guys' MC draws a first half yellow.... then later a clearly cynical tackle that tears my AMC's ACL (say that five times fast)...
And only gets a warning.... book him ref!!
4-0 league win.... we sit solidly in 2nd still.... with only 2 real games left.... one with 3rd place, and one with the Big Dog!
Scout buyer drew 1-1 at home in the CL. Surely it can't be happening again..
Ack! 2nd training related injury..... dislocated ankle for my #3 striker that I *was* gonna play in my
crazy early in the morning match tomorrow.... :sigh:
Guess the 3W-4-3 is out for me.... :searching for new strategy:
I don't know.... he's out 4 days late in the season... and though he is the most skilled, highest value striker I have
and one of my better trainers.... he just doesn't perform in matches... that's how he slipped to #3 striker....
Should I sell him for the 1.4m he stands to bring me and shop? Or keep him and see if he rebounds next year when my
#2 striker turns 24?
Thursday Report.
LGE: GORAN FC 0-3 LONDON CITY
Things started bad for us when Luigi Mancini saw red after just 2 minutes. Willem Gentile put us in front on 10 minutes. We then lost DC, Jan Fredriksen to injury, before Teddy King made it 0-2, after 24 minutes. In the second half, Gentile got a second yellow, reducing us to 9 men. Rudolph Mueller replaced King in our reshuffled side, and he bagged a third for us after 72. We then held on until the final whistle without any more misfortune. Seamus Flanagan won m.o.m.
CL: LONDON CITY 1-1 PARKSIEDLUNG FC
We once again struggled in the first leg of this tie. The visitors took the lead in the 23rd minute, but we equalised five minutes later, when Lukas Duran scored from a free kick (28). We pressed for the winner, but the away team's tactics of "parking the bus", denied us.
After today's extraordinary league match, we will be going into tomorrow's game with 2 players injured, and 4 players suspended. We will have to dig deep into our squad, and just hope.
Outside the games, DMC, Gary Tracey has left the club after a training ground bust-up with manager Billy Wheeler, when it was announced that a new DC/DR/DMC, Andreas Costa would be joining the squad.
Slight bit of good news.... just watched the league leader play his match... he was up 0-2 with 78 minutes gone... then shifted into an illegal defense with 3 wing players on the left.... gave up 2 last minute goals and left with a 2-2 draw... bizarre!
We are still 8 back of 1st.... but any break is a break!
League, round 17 - Perfect Tactics 6-0 Ruben FC
9 points clear at the top of the table.
Ruben FC were in all sorts of problems and so were we after Petersen gave us the lead, he got *INJURED* after a nasty tackle from the defender (I should have seen this coming, considering the out of position players) and it saw him get sent off with a second yellow card. Crawford set up Mata for 2-0 and we were in control. Suarez gave us a 3 goal lead from the counter attack before Fabregas made it 4-0, another Crawford assist. Lamb made it 5-0 from a counter attack and then Cazorla scored via a deflection from the defender, but he won't care.
Goals: Petersen (12'), Mata (27'), Suarez (50'), Fabregas (60'), Lamb (79'), Cazorla (87')
MOTM: Crawford
How dare he injure Petersen..The guy was absolutely injury proof and some nooblet has gone and wrecked him.. But what's this? He's not injured any more! Magical red packs to the rescue!!!
