Ratings that end in 4 or 9 mean that the players overall is 14 or 19 for level 1, 24 or 29 for level 2 and so on. it is the best value for money and can increase in star rating a lot faster than a player that ends in 0,1,2,5,6,7....
For example, you may buy a player with a rating of 19 (4stars) for cheaper than a player with a rating of 20 (5stars) in level one, even though there may be only a few skill points between them.
Goalkeepers: C Burns, S Clements
Defenders: A Galliozi, M Owen, S Versacio, R Nurcahyo, R Svendsen, A Corbisiero
Midfielders: N Ogunkoyo, I Harari, A Butters, J Stefanutto, B Sharpe, T Cahill, K Graham, Y Selliti, S Jones
Forwards: J Marques, E Simaga, M Mekikov
When you look at the individual players, obviously you notice the number of stars first. If you hover the cursor over the stars, you will see the skill quality of the player, ie: 33, 28 etc. Now each player rises by one star after five quality levels (if that makes sense to you). What July was refering to, was that, say for instance, a player had a rating of 34 or 39, they are quite close to gaining their next star rating at 35 & 40. I hope I've made myself clear.

>My team<
well my season started well, played the best two teams in league and lost 2-0 and 4-0 to leave me 2nd bottom and these two are 1st an 2nd, now i`m playing a team that are 3rd ohhhh what an easy start to the season guess there`s only one way to go and that`s up.
Analisti 0-4 July Fourth League Round 2, Yesterday Evening
Forgot to post what happened yesterday in my league game that I didn't watch and it turned out we got a good away win here with Pepp Crawford doing the business for us with a brace, and both our wingers L.McNamara and Alex Zidane both getting on the score sheet, Zidane seems to be doing rather well on the AMR position and soon he will do better once he gets the 11 skill points he still needs for him to be a ST/AMR.

Just spent over $50million on renewing contracts for my 8 of my main players that I bought 2 seasons ago... ouch and most of their wages have nearly doubled.
My daily spend on wages before was just over $3million a day, I'd imagine it will be close to $4million now.
Let's see if the increased wages for those 8 players results in better performances for my team.
