League, round 4 - Ruben FC 0-8 Perfect Tactics
Preview: Off the back of an early cup exit, a win was needed to get back the team confidence. We went into this game a point behind the leaders.
This team was tough to break down and it took 35 minutes to get the opener and it was Petersen who got the first goal, a pile driver into the top corner giving no chance for the keeper. Ruben FC were reduced to 10 men following an injury and this left them without a left sided player...
The floodgates started to open, on the stroke of half time, Yedek scored from long range. Mata got 2 goals, the first from a long range strike and the 2nd from a Petersen corner putting the score at 4-0. We were then awarded a free kick, Petersen curled it into the corner for his second and our 5th of the game. His hat trick was complete on 72 minutes after a penalty was awarded, his shot drilled past the goalkeeper. Suarez got on the score sheet towards the end and then Petersen smashed home a shot after good play from substitute Cazorla to set up the goal. Routine win for Perfect Tactics.
Goals: Petersen (35', 64', 72' PEN, 83'), Yedek (45'), Mata (56', 62'), Suarez (80')
MOTM: Petersen
Nothing for Crawford today, gave him the start alongside Suarez but didn't find the net, I should probably keep him as a super sub player...

>My team<
In league : 4 wins with 15 goals for ... 4 goals conceded (too bad start for my defense) ... 4 point ahead between me as the 1st and the 2nd in the table and this a great start for me (no strong teams till now).
In C.L. : 2 wins with only 5 goals ... and one goals conceded .
In CUP : Easy wins as usual for all the beg. rounds and too much goals and there are no problems in CUP .
Today we had some easy games.
Cup was up with a low lvl player and we won 10 - 0. Players put on their best show and the fans liked it. The team and the fans hope to draw a nice opponent for the next round of the cup.
In the league we met one of the bottom ranked teams. Player gave the fans a good game for their money. We won 8 - 0. Though in the end the players of the other team got frustrated and started to break some legs. First up was our free kick specialist, then a defender and after that the second CM. Our free kick specialist would have been able to compeat the contest edition 2 if he wasn't injured.
Management and medical staff will have a meeting asap to see how we will progress with a very though game up tommorrow in CL.
An imporant victory in league, a 5-1 away who sended me on the first place of league + 1 point more then 2nd and 3rd place!

LGE: GORAN FC 0-3 LONDON CITY.
Straight forward victory with no frills. Solomon Grundy (32), and Dave Kennedy (41), struck in the space of 9 minutes, to give us a comfortable lead at the break. Teddy King added a third after 82 minutes to wrap up the scoring. Aaron Martin received MOM award.
CUP: LONDON CITY 8-1 KIBAA FC.
We almost treated this like a training session, having a lead of 9-0 from the first leg. Teddy King opened the scoring after just five minutes, then Seamus Flanagan added a second from the penalty spot after 12 minutes, and he followed that with another within a minute. Rudolph Mueller (35) and Hector Morgada (37), also got in on the scoring act, before our opponents got a consolation, before half time. In the second half, King scored his 2nd of the match after 57 minutes, before Flanagan completed his hat-trick on 84. There was still time for Luigi Mancini to get an eighth (87), before the ref blew for full time. Flanagan again picked up anoth mom award.
In the league, there are still 4 of us, tied for top spot, with 10 points, with the 5th placed team on 9.
With an aggregate score of 17-1 in the cup, we are hoping for a decent draw next time, to hopefully qualify for the knock-out stages.
