Massie Lodge extended their lead in League Level 8 over night following a 0-2 away win in Bosnia-Herzgovinia. There certainly appears to be at least 6 serious contenders in the League so the 2pt lead is nothing to get carried away with at this early stage of the season. Most of the other top 6 seem to be drawing with or beating each other with no real stand outs so tactics in every game will prove vital.
A 3-1 home win in CL leaves Massie Lodge undefeated in their Group & only need to win one of their three remaining games to finish top of the group & progress to the knockout stage.
Three games scheduled for the next 24 hours, nothing on Monday then 4 games scheduled for Tuesday, so there could well be a couple of home games rescheduled to take some pressure off the lads.

Cracking result for the rovers today then Accy
Still undefeated but a bit like Julys game the 2-0 win was looking like a distant dream in the first half.
Playing 4-1-4-1 against my butterfly, 3 saves in the first 20 minutes from Jones kept us in the game, everything we hit was blocked.
The engine finally gave up the ghost in the second half and our class started to shine through.
The 27yo Tony Parkes (AMR/MR/DMR) I bought on the second day of the season has been money well spent 3 MOM awards already and he assisted in our first with a corner, Shearer rising above the defence to head home.
Wilcox made it two after a scintillating run down the left flank leaving a pile of defenders in his trail and blasting the ball into the top corners.
Tugay had the honour of playing in the dreaded left of MC role and was duly rewarded with a yellow card after 4 minutes.
3 wins out of three in the CL and 5 out of five in the league, another good day at the office and the bank, Ravers also let go 22yo DC/DMC Hanyzec who has been with the club since level two as an 18yo, Ravers paid a record fee at the time of 1.8m for his services, a fee of 4.5m was received.
Ravers also signed 23yo striker Simon Garner, Yes! he's back.of course he was given the #10 shirt, it was however still a bit wet, not that he seemed bothered in his brief cameo appearance coming off the bench on 86 minutes in the CL game.

The Saturday Report.
LGE: SHAZZY B 0-3 LONDON CITY
This win wasn't as comfortable as the scoreline suggests. Our lower half of the table opponents, put up a spirited performance. Hector Morgada relieved some of the anxiety by scoring twice (19 & 39), before the break. Five minutes after the restart, Morgada picked up an ankle strain and we had to reshuffle the pack. It remained 2-0 until the dying moments when Rudolph Mueller (86), gave the scoreline a much better look. In an eventful day for Morgada, he was chosen as MOM.
CL: LONDON CITY 3-2 KURDISTAN FC.
Another uncomfortable match for our group topping team, against the pointless visitors. Kurdistan shocked the home supporters by taking a 12th minute lead. Teddy King equalised with a header from debutant, Paul Edmond's corner, on 18, and that's how it remained until the half time break. Aaron Martin scored our second headed goal, again from a corner, this time from Dave Kennedy, after 58 minutes, to give us the lead. But again our opponents gave us a nasty shock, with an equaliser of their own, with just 10 minutes left on the clock. There was just enough time for Edmonds to grab a vital winner, in stoppage time. Defender, Justin Harold claimed the MOM award.
The league win, keeps us still joint top of the league with 2 other teams, with 4th place just a point behind. The Champions League win gives us 9 points from the 3 games played, so hopefully, a win in our next natch, should make progressing from the group, almost a certainty.
On the downside, the injury to Morgada, although fairly minor, it will sideline him for 3 days. But worse still, reserve 'keeper, Vladen Pajovic suffered a cruciate ligament strain in tonight's training, and will be out for 6 days. The rest of training was immediately cancelled.

League opponent tomorrow plays a 3W-3W-3N-1 - ML, MC, MR and AMCs.
Guess it's time to pull out the WM formation, never used it before but I reckon it should do the job.
