Does anybody know, how the arrows (red and blue) work? Isnt it strange to not describe it in help?

Red Arrow's is to support your Attackers, when your team is attacking (cross over)! Blue Arrow is to support your Defenders when your team is Defending
When your MC has non of that he still do both ....

He is right in what he meant!, I go on the theory of reds to support attack by going forward and blues support by concerntrating on going back, we all know that every player will still defend, I had strikers show up on the comentry and put in a defencive block lol, I think he ment that!,
REDS= FOCUS ON GOING FORWARD.
BLUE= FOCUS ON GOING BACK.
Imo, saying arrows make players motivated (like people do when talking about formations) is a good way of describing it. I don't know much, but I believe a red arrow means the player will attack more readily, get forward faster and will lose more condition while attacking than if not motivated. He will defend as normal - this can however mean that if he is advanced then sometimes he might not track back quick enough, but I believe he'll still try. A player with blue arrow will similarly get back more readily, when the opposition attacks, again for a greater condition cost than if 'un-arrowed'. He will still attack while his team attacks - its just he won't do it as readily and he may be doing so from a more withdrawn position if the change from defence to attack is quick.
Just my thoughts, my beliefs.

I'd like to ask a specific supplementary question but one which could be included in the OPs. I may ofc be seeing patterns that are not real but here goes......
Do you think that arrows impact on specific actions like free-kicks? Previously my free-kick specialist was a DL/DC who was frequently motivated to attack. I got the impression that he shot direct at goal more often than he crossed. I now have a free-kick specialist DC/DMC who is frequently motivated to defend. I similarly get the impression that he crosses from free-kicks more often than he shoots. Ofc I don't know where the free-kicks are being taken from but - any thoughts?
