I voted no. To put it simply, they designed friendlies to be a "fun" match. Especially since the game only affects controlled sides now. Sure, you'll gain training points, but you'll lose out on more energy than normal training. As for the thought that a win could boost the entire team's morale, I really doubt that too. Quite often I find myself using morale boosters on players that are practically playing perfect and the team is on a long winning streak. I don't think your previous result has any effect on your next result.
