Ranking special abilites

Weird thing about playmakers: I see a lot of you complain about your MCs with playmaker SA getting cards and playing poorly. The thing is, I have 2 playmakers 3* MR and 4* ML and each of them has got like 1-2 yellows during entire last season even though they were close to most caps in the squad (I have no replacement for them). And the 3* MR also scored 13 goals!

Hello everyone!
It is now a new season, a new challenge. I just won the league title by beating my friend in the last round. He was 2 points ahead and led 0-1, but I won (all hail Corner Kick Specialist!!!).
For most of the time I played, I had a relatively high quality squad, but a very small number of them had special abilities. Now I have decided to go in hunt for those kinds of players more. What I want to know is how valuable all these SA really are?
PK stopper? 1-on-1 stopper? Aerial defender? Defensive wall? Dribbler? Playmaker? FK taker? PK taker? 1-on-1 scorer? Shadow striker? Which SAs are a superb addition and are there any useless which I should totally ignore?

Well done on the win! As an aside, which formation did you use in the end?


I've not had much luck with free kick specialists (aside from the very 1st one I had), but I've had some good corner takers. I'm also a fan of 1on1 shot stopper for GKs, and 1on1 scorer for strikers

I've not had much luck with free kick specialists (aside from the very 1st one I had), but I've had some good corner takers. I'm also a fan of 1on1 shot stopper for GKs, and 1on1 scorer for strikers

In the first half I used the formation you told me to. Morelli guarding his AMC, you know... and my defender handballed in the box. He missed a penalty, but scored a bit later (corner kick specialist assisted the striker). Luckily I equalized in 44th minute (corner kick specialist assisted the midfielder). Then I decided I would go back to my realiable 4-2-1-3 formation. I took off my handballer for another striker. I dominated him. And I scored somewhere between 60-70 (corner kick specialist assisted the defender for his first goal of the season ). Had to play one defender out of the position as my only right back got injured. My corner kick specialist missed 1 on 1 to seal the win and that is when I started to sweat. Luckily he couldn't get through me...

Have given One on One Scorer and Playmaker 1 because I had to give Dribbler and Penalty Kick a 0...Otherwise One on One Scorer and Playmaker would have also got 0...
