I did get around 700 tokens from opening a ladbrokes betting account online when the World Cup was on - but I was intending to open an account with them anyway. Other than that no money has been used to get my tokens.

I don't think anyone on the thread has bought tokens. All seemed to be farmed or just saved up season on season from Nordeus.

I did...bought £10 worth last season but got more from offers than I bought.
A one off tenners worth may technically mean you're a token buyer, but it's not exactly the '£100 a month, brand new scout team every season' kinda player that i think of when the name's mentioned!

I spent 20€ a long time ago, when I got into a bid war and lost my 20 tokens. Two-in-one stupid things!
I bought £10 worth in my 1st season, which mainly got spent on vanity stuff (playing strips & a couple of player name changes) - it was sort of my way of saying thanks for a game I enjoy. I didn't discover token farming until season 2 (and most of that season I was on holiday in New Zealand where there's not many tokens to farm).
