this, a few people seem to challenge their next opponent in cup/cleague to a friendly sometimes a day or two before it to see whethor they need to strengthen their squad so a lot of people will put all their players on with hard tackling and put all their players in a position near your top players to try and injure them before the proper game since nothing happens to them if they are playing an away friendly. I had a friendly against some guy in my league last season and 3 of my top 5 players got injured after he finished with 9 men

Two of my players were injured so far in this season, but at least it was only for three days. Luckily, I have backup

The amount of Tokens or boosters doesn't seem to correlate to injuries.

Most injuries for me happen early & late in Season.

This Season I think I will record all my injuries in a thread to see how bad it is.
I see the same thing. It's a good idea to record it all, but I suspect that some players are simply more injury-prone. One of my best is always getting injured, but is amazing when he does play, so I tolerate it. Normally, I would just sell him and get on with my life.

I don't buy this conspiracy theory about amount of tokens/packs...I had about 3 injuries all season a few months ago and I had over 500 tokens and over 200 red packs by the end of the season.

I fear the information about this is hugely exaggerated and people just like to moan about how hard done-by they are.

I did this two season ago and with red pack earned, every 4 days got 7 reds from medi centre 4 gift and if lucky no bookings < lol let`s say 3 with two games a day that`s 14 BUT when added up end of season still needed and extra 200 plus reds, so there is no way that red packs earned will cover if you get a lot of injuries

I think they probably increase the chance of getting injury.
In my first seasons, I spent about 20-40 treatments for retrieving my main squad.
Now that I am in level 13, and have my pitch and medical facilities max out, which are suppose to greatly reduce my chance of getting serious injury. But just in my last season, I roughly spent OVER 120 TREATMENTS for my main squad. (I have about 80 treatments in the beginning of the season, and gain 7 treaments every 4 days for my facility, you got the number.) Note that I only have enough to use them for my main squad, and just let the subs die.
My players were getting injury ALMOST EVERYDAY. If they are not suffer challenge from opponents, they will somehow found a way to hurt themselves. And if they hurt themselves, then it's gonna be a 5 days+ situation. My facilities are just for show, coz getting a serious injury is a piece of cake.
I thought the new season is gonna be better, I was so naive. It is DAY 2, and I have 4 injured players already. One of them was just retrieve from a 6-day injury yesterday using my last 15 treatments.
Happy harvesting, coz I am not putting another penny in this sgame.

Ok here's an update. Yesterday I had 2 more friendlies, this time my friends arranged it. Guess what - no injuries. My cup game was also injury-free on both sides. I didn't change any settings fom my previous days and now I come to believe that it was just my bad luck to have this long period of injuries.
Whatever the injury-generating factors are, as mentioned in this and other threads, they were not the case in my team. So the only explanation is bad luck/coincidence/game mathematics.
Still, I feel for all of you that are currently experiencing too many injuries. Good luck for all of us

How does that figure out? That's more to do with kicking the daylights out of the other team.

Okay, I just had an injured player from a friendly match that someone else scheduled with my team. If my team can't gain anything at all from friendly matches that other people schedule, then why should I be at any risk of suffering injury? The system is messed up. I shouldn't have to be active 24/7 (cancelling all incoming friendly requests) just to ensure that my players remain healthy.

*EDIT* Never mind. The "injury" only lasted for the duration of the friendly match.
