It is the beginning of a new season, so you can space those 2 or 3 days out to the whole season, and won't even need to spend that many green packs

Yes, but he takes up a spot... so unless it's a tanking team, that spot might be more useful filled by a decent player...
On BvB I never have an open slot, but some of my no tokens bought squads i have trained the freebie up and sold on day one for good profit
How can u get so much red packs?
The only difference between the 18 and 24 token academy players is the starting rating. They would both be fast trainers but, for example, the 24T would be a 4* 73 rating whereas the 18T would be a 4* 71 rating. A 15T would be 3* 68 say.
It's worth saving the 6 tokens for the little time it takes to train up the difference.
I only signed this 3* dual role Academy player because I wanted to test things out - sometimes I find it more entertaining to play around with things as well as it being a distraction from the D I is bad WWWWWW I is Pro L I got trolled treadmill ;)
btw even with the big variations in skill point gain on MP I'm still seeing roughly 7-8% tp gain per 1% condition for the faster trainer and 6-7 for the other, across the board.
On the variations between each type of training the spreads for each are not that different between cardio and match it just seems to feel more consistent for cardio. Initial results are showing low to high values for my academy player of
Stretching 41-58 Cardio 73-119 and Match 108-165 and
mean values are 48.7, 96 and 138.5 respectively.
The ranges do seem to be a bit wider than before but whether the averages are similar or different to the past I don't know.
Here's some 'Gain only' data for my 18 yo 4* 15T Academy AML/ML, Hard Training - who's now 5*.
I can't offer any data on injuries because I've yet to get one on this player, or my high value 18yo 5* Market buy, while training.

Very nice! And those numbers are better than my bestest trainers, so that's a valuable player I reckon (though he'll slow down eventually)
Hey Buff please also mention the amount of tokens you bought this players...:)....
I bet Buffs spent 16T. :D (Scots, yeah?)
Or did you mean on green packs? Were they saved up?
My Youth Player was of 24T and his average is currently much higher than Buffs players...So does this means that Training Speed also depends upon the Tokens...
Gogs76 said that the number of Tokens required to get the youth player is only indicative of how much near the player is to 5 star...:)...
Wellllll... I tend to to think theres a roll of the dice on training speed, though none will be total ducks like the freebies.
I have bought various T amount youths and all have been good players but their training speed varied.
Oh yeh. my new guy got 5* and slowed to 35/81/81 nxt hard train
^That's my 15T Academy player.
This one was 3T off the market - probably another Academy player (but ofb no idea what Token cost) or a a resold NordGen - bought from a player team but no playing stats MV 10m.

Bought a 18 yo NordGen 5* MC this morning MV 10.5m but cost me more = 7T.
Could be, but you'd need to post up the numbers because what you think is the average can be higher or lower than the actual and ofc it depends when you stop recording and the sample size. eg I could've stopped after 5 trains and ave on Practice would've been 145 or I could've picked the higher values to make hi lok better.
But ofc this is only about speed. In the long run what matters more is the gain per %age condition imo - because the real cost is Condition. [EDIT] that's why I've recorded what the start and end condition was for each type of training. [/EDIT]
Nevertheless this is about the numbers rather than the wow. ;)
My sample size is still very small that's why I have not posted it...
And why would I pick up only the higher value and fake it...I will get nothing by telling a lie...
Plus if this is the case why even bother with picking up higher value...I can fake the values like in Hard Practice Mode by players got 1000...
I didn't say you would - just highlighting an extreme that can make things seem different.
Even when I was doing the training I was under the impression that my Academy player 'usually' got over 150 and I thought that was being conservative ..... until I calculated the average and it is quite a bit lower. ;)
My Cardio numbers look a bit strange too- either below 90 or above, nothing between 90 and 100 which is surprising. And thats not to mention the ones where he gets more, or similar, on cardio than on Match Practice. O.o
Very large variations showing up. :D
And, I'm not going to say how many green kits I used. I did this just to get data and because I was interested by it, not to improve my player (or show off). And I don't know how many (but might be able to work it out) ;).............
...................IF I remember or relearn how to do stuff in spreadsheets I can look at 'gain per 1 or 5% condition' which might be useful for considering the time or cost involved.
Great work.
My guy has now got another position, a special ability and crossed into 5* territory this morning. i want to do a few sessions at his new level just to get an indication of 'slow down' speed before I try and correlate anything.
I really wish I could do spreadsheets, this is going to be a nightmare, over 200 training sessions, injuries, green packs used and condition at end of each session!!!! :D
Just a player that it cost me 3T to buy off the market. Sorry for any confusion.
It was a high value and therefore 'expected' fast training 18yo who hadn't played - which could have been another teams Academy player or a resold NordGen or something else I'm not aware of. So I used it as another separate source of data and also as a training partner which I thought might lower the chance of my Academy player getting injured.....but it turned out neither of them got injured.
PS. If anyone knows exactly what the condition bands/ranges are or if they are (or not) accurately represented by the colour bars then please let me know.
