Did he come with 2 roles?
I just bought a 4* Youth product, 35/90/100 first go. The Practice Match gain is disappointing! I would have expected about 20ish more. Will have to see over time what he averages.
I can see why you got him!! Let us know how he does over the coming Seasons... :)
He looks like a cracker. Sadly, academy players have brought me nothing but disappointment. I hope you find the opposite to me!
My Youth Player got 48/116/112...I don't know why the Practice Match always pays less return......
I don't think we will get any match to play this season...As my Marco Reus who was not so great has started firing in full cylinders since the last season...:)...
Second training new guy I got 37/99/155. That's more like it. :)
My AM's attributes are generally like 90 100 110, they don't get broken too often. :D
Here's my entire team's atrributes:

This works for how I play (you can pick out the newest players in the list, their attributes are the least skewed.) I think other ways probably work for other Managers, though, and if what you do is working don't change it. :)
(Sorry Sidd for chatting so off topic)
The second half tends to be productive, since my guys aren't as tired. I favor physical cause i've yet to see a modern footy player that isn't in optimal physical shape. I have always assigned that way, and my hubby thinks it's just silly, he keeps his phys the same as the players' main skills... Eh, he gets more injuries, but can apply the points not used on phys to skills, so maybe it washes out in the end. His Teams still win more than they lose by a lot. That's why I could never say one way or the other is better, it's up to manager preference.
I got an 3* AML/ML this season that I signed for 15T just for giggles - he trains anywhere from 105-175 hard match practice so far.
Physical is important because 1. your players are always using a physical skill and 2. creativity enhances the skill selection when your player (engine) is choosing a defence or attacking skill to use. My base line is Physical MUST be at least equal to ave Q and the target is equal'ish to the other priority skill in a 2 skill skewed player.
I'm recording all the stats for a fast training 4* 18 yo academy player at the moment, every single gain on every type of training, injuries etc. I'll post them up in a few days.
He's exactly the same level as yours but was only 71 Quality therefore only cost 18 tokens.
I had only been doing it for Match practice except where I saw extreme variations. But I'll log individual sessions from now on. Unfortunately its only a 3* Academy player I decided to do this on so not exactly the same.
Good one!
I'm up to 35 SP since last night, going to train in another role and/or a special ability I think. Will see exactly what happens to training levels when he jumps from 4* to 5* and if condition makes much difference on injuries. I've had 1 injury out of 54 'training on hard' sessions so far which is a decent rate I'd say.
Damn, I spoke to soon he ticked over to 4* yesterday. I have some logs of sessions up to that point tho. But anyway I'll log individually from now on.
The Training Log piccies are in my Profile as a Visitor Message, not sure if you can see them, if not I'll do something with them later.
Stupid Pro teams, and I am here at level 5 :P
Would have taken over 150 greens at least the speed of his training, and a lot of my own time, just to get a couple of million more than I got in transfer fees. That's less than one game gate receipts, not worth the hassle.
The other guy I got is a fast trainer, so concentrating on him and also recording everything as a guide on training speeds hopefully for others
He just trained 174 in Hard Practice Mode...I think its the highest I have ever seen or heard...:)...
:D I know, but it's even less worth the effort for a couple of tokens when I can get that from a couple of 3 minute vids!
And I'm being generous with thinking i'd even get a couple of tokens, 99% of bids I get on my players on negotiation have no tokens at all in the bid!
:p I'm sure I said earlier in the thread mine got 175 :p But don't ask for pics cos I have none.
Anyway, I'm probably wasting my time with this AML/ML but my DMC needs a training partner. The DML/DMC is probably an Academy player too with added points rather than a resold NordGem (@10m for a 5* 18 yo) and now has 32/50 for his new role ;) And so far none of them have had any injuries.
[EDIT] The following results are Hard Match Practice [/EDIT]
Early results are my 15T academy player AML/ML has achieved 56/78/156, 47/77/127, 43/109/121, 42/79/163, 48/114/159, 47/102/108
Other 18yo has got 41/75/130, 47/70/138, 40/86,/117, 44/67/87, 39/67/134, 29/75/104
I've recorded condition before and after each training stint for both.
Anything else I need to record?
This was my second academy player i got, on level 3, didnt got many chances after i got my star ST MISIC from MR Scout!
Just sold him on day 3 of this season, my first of this team was sold last season also with 29 years old, 12 seasons at the team!

I know what your saying, but if you honestly think I'm gonna spend two or three days sitting at the computer training up an extremely slow trainer, using up a couple of hundred greens just for the sake of, and be honest here, 5 tokens maximum? then you're sadly mistaken, it's just a game!
Don't let me put you off trying it though on the next free academy dual role player you get though!!! :D
My guy has been steady at about 90 with (hard) Cardio but varies wildly with other trainings, too. And I don't see any pattern with it....
I've been debating on whether or not to pick up the 4 star youth player I got the other day. He's a ST, and I already have 4 STs on my squad. Of my current STs, 1 is 6 stars, 2 are 5 stars, and 1 is 4 stars (but very close to 5), so it feels like signing a 5th ST for 18T might be a waste.
Signing any player for 18T is a waste unless you are short of money...I only did this to explore the Youth Academy Player and my squad is quite good at the moment and I can play 3 season without buying any player so I will have plenty of Tokens after these 3 seasons...:)...
Thanks for the advice. I guess the main reason I was even considering it is that it feels weird letting a young player slip past. It's the same reason that I'm trying to avoid looking at the transfer market for a while lol
