I noticed this the last couple days, where my team has been winning games 1-0. However, our goals have been coming on "bad chances" (quick rundown, I like to break my goal scoring chances into 4 categories. The top one is anything that is "one on one with the keeper" or "through to the goal" those should be scored at least 75%of the time. The second best chances imo are free kicks and corners; I have specialists for both, so therefore I think it's reasonable to convert 1/4 of those chances. The third chance is anything "thundering", or a "vicious strike" those should not end up goals very often, maybe 1/10. Finally, we have long range chances, which I want to see a goal about one of every 12-15 attempts.)
Anyway, back to my initial complaint. Over the last 4 games we've won 1-0, 1-0, 1-0, and Drew 0-0. Yet in each win, our goal was scored on a long range shot. I keep track of my "class 4 chances" and there haven't been many, only 3 total over the first three games, but then we had 4 in the 0-0 draw, and at least 5 corners/free kicks! Why are the bad chances resulting in goals, and the good chances being out wide? Ps I do play attacking mentality.
