I nearly always play with a DMC it is most essential to my 3w-1-4w-2 formation!, it acts as extra cover for my defence and links up with my attacking midfield, you can play a blue arrow on him if you want to be more defensive but in general I play with a red the same as all for midfield and strikers.
I prefer to get him with the playmaker SA if possible but its not essential, you can always tweak your orders to how attacking/ defencive you wish to play which is how I do it.

    Double winners x 5 , Treble x 1 ...Perfect league wins 26/26 x 1 (L8).

That's an interesting formation. I have a hard time setting asymmetric formations myself but they can be effective. Just my opinion, but if that ST is right footed I'd play him on the right, unless the defense is weaker on the left (or right from other team's perspective). It's your team though, set it up how you like it most, and how it works best for you.

Yes he is left footed. He had a fairly average game to be honest tonight though, but my midfield were amazing and we won 6-0 so he didn't need to shine....

Well that was a tough lost, but please also include your tactics... that is probably as important as formations and arrows!
