be patient at level 2 you can easily pick up a 18 yr old 1 or 2 skill points behind a scout with training he can be world class in a week so 1 token and time = world class or 50 tokens a scout ???

I will say no. Try to buy a player in his 18-21 with a 9 or 4 ending. They will become scout after some training.

I'm currently only level 2. I've been looking for a better DMC and have had little luck in the transfer market. There are some who are better than my current sub, but very few who match my starter.

Should I buy the DMC on the scout list who's quality is 7 more than my current starter (9 more than the sub)?

No, if the player on the scout list is only 7 quality higher than your player, he might be a 5 star player. 5 star player is enough to keep you competitive to other team unless you want a scout team. I always put 4/5 star player on first 11 and I have won all the league title. 3 star players will be sub.

Should I be patient and wait for one on transfer market?

Yes, try to wake up when server reboots for nordgen.

Or should I be even more patient and see how the season shakes out? 12 days into the season I'm doing well in all competitions, so maybe I should wait to look to improve?

I dont think you need more improvement in the middle of season unless you are fighting for cl and cups because you already make improvement during first few day. Save your money up for the next season.

What are your thoughts on this situation, and on scout players in general?
Sometimes scout player doesnt perform well and i actually saw some people in this forum sell their scouts just a week after buying them.

    Alright, new question!

Found a good goalkeeper for a good price. So, now I have 3 GK.
    1 - Jones is Q29, Age 24. No SA, wage = 48k
    2 - Hawes is Q26, Age 19. No SA (7/50 towards shot blocker), wage = 30k
    3 - Sakurai is Q29, Age 28. No SA, wage = 45k

So, which one do I sell? I'm leaning towards Sakurai becuase he is the oldest. My starter matches him in Q and is younger. I like the idea of having young keeper on the bench, as he should be able to train semi-quickly. Plus, he is only slightly behind the starter, so performance should drop off much when he does play. Thoughts?

sell the older one as they train slower, the younger the age the faster they train

Scout players are worth the weight in gold and in my opinion every team should have at two or three to help balance the team and give you a little extra but now is not the time to buy 50T scouts!, wait till the first day or two of the season so you get a full season from them or risk them losing a star if you get promoted.
The main thing to be aware of is that dont expect them to come blazing out the blocks as some take a season to settle then come good the next, others play great this season and average the next, I have found they go in seasons ..good- average-good etc, you should treat them as an investment and play them to there strenghts!.
I always have 5 or 6 minimum to cover two teams(22 man squad) you can look to get young players on the normal market but expect to in bidding wars for real quality 5* players.

    Double winners x 5 , Treble x 1 ...Perfect league wins 26/26 x 1 (L8).
Every comment I make on this forum is based on my own experiences and so should be taken as such!.

Don't worry about wages if you progress well in CL and CUP, keep your stadium full, wages will not be a problem. Good GKs come at different ages and Qlty, so its not a deciding factor, but you're are at a lower level so a younger GK maybe the way to go, he will progress with you as you advance, if he is a good trainer, look long term.

But bottom line is, performance, performance, performace in the big games! MOTM, game wining saves and high morale these factors rarely are linked to Qlty, Age or wages. Maybe a SA?

So, play them all and see how they do, sell the loser.
