No, if the player on the scout list is only 7 quality higher than your player, he might be a 5 star player. 5 star player is enough to keep you competitive to other team unless you want a scout team. I always put 4/5 star player on first 11 and I have won all the league title. 3 star players will be sub.

Yes, try to wake up when server reboots for nordgen.

Or should I be even more patient and see how the season shakes out? 12 days into the season I'm doing well in all competitions, so maybe I should wait to look to improve?

I dont think you need more improvement in the middle of season unless you are fighting for cl and cups because you already make improvement during first few day. Save your money up for the next season.

What are your thoughts on this situation, and on scout players in general?
Sometimes scout player doesnt perform well and i actually saw some people in this forum sell their scouts just a week after buying them.
