Where do you concentrate your efforts?

So far this season (season 4 level 4) the league has been a disaster for me. I am on the foot of the table and can seem to do no right in the matches. 1 goal scored, 8 conceded and zero points.

However, I'm doing OK in the cup, I got a draw yesterday against an old adversary who normally thrashes me and I am happy with my progress in the CL, but let's see how I get on tonight.

I'm interested to learn where other managers place their priorities.

I'm considering a "consolidation" season, build up a bit of cash from the cup and CL and not worry too much about the league until next season. That way I should be in a strong position to whip the new boys who turn up and romp in as champion. Then again, maybe I've just been unlucky and had my toughest games first, I'll reserve my decision for a few more games. I may well crash out of the cup, fail to qualify in the CL and fulfill the old cliché of "concentrating on the league" - that was the story of my last two seasons!

Not necessarily - on lower levels cup can earn you a lot. I am level 2 and I've put a lot of effort (and money) in getting my team to 5* and especially prepared them for the first cup game against a level 4 team, which I managed to win 1:0, 2:2. From these and the next two cup games I will earn around 8M which is a massive amount of money for level 2... (luckily my 2nd squad won my league games too )

Getting top 4 in the league must be your priority every season.

CL AND CUP, League is not primary interest. Further progress brings more cash. Although old server does not allow more than 1/8 in Cup and 1/2 in CL, still pushing there since reward in CL group phase +2 games in cup is much higher than 28 day reward in League. First team for CL and Cup, second team for League

i guess i won the league so i prefer to focus on the cup and CL

ive delete all good managers from my friend list and add all **** managers whose expected to be promote at de end of last season

I'd agree with others that the league is my priority. A good cup run is always a bonus.

I hope you make sure of top 4 in league, though. If not, you'll miss out on the CL next season.

Depends on Opponents quality. On weaker teams I let play B-Team and concentrate on CL/Cup even in KO-Mode.
