Champions League: The Buffs get off to a winning start with a 5-0 win.

Having neglected his favoured 4-5-1V recently Buffs Mad got the wingers on and AML Jim Baxter helped himself to a hat-trick. Striker McCoist seemed to tire badly suddenly so Dalglish came off the bench for last 18.

    Goals: Baxter (15, 49, 55), McCoist (25), Dalglish (78).

Next rounds the Buffs take on a slightly higher Q team in the Cup and a long-time equal quality rival in the league.

    The Squad For Season 6

I am now done on the transfermarket and I feel very satisfied with my team.
It has an average quality of 47,9 (50= scout) and the average age is 23.4 years old.

The difference from past seasons is that I now have searched for a bit more experienced players instead of 18-19 year olds.
Now i've bought players around 22-25 years of age + looked for special ability players.

I hope this is the season where I take back the double again.

The treble wouldn't be bad, but i think thats a long shot.

And My league are for once very competetive. It's many teams around 46-48 quality. But I wont give in!
I've won the league every single season - and this won't be any exception.

I had a budget of 95T on this pre-season - And they are used. As you can see, My team is complete... I just want to sell my "other" Marco Reus and it's done

So far, so good... I won My first cup leg with agg: 6-2. (0-4 win away and 2-2 draw home)
And I won my first CL game at home with 3-1.

Re-strengthened my team in the first 3 days of this season by bringing in 12 new players at a cost of 56 Tokens.

One player cost me 32 tokens after I got into a bidding war, while another cost me 11. I picked up the other ten players for 1 token each, apart from 3 players, where I had to use 2 tokens. Pretty content with that this season.

Its taken me almost two full days however to sell my unwanted players (and then sign up the new players).

On the plus, while 56 Tokens have been used, due to doing a bit of farming today and last night, I am only 7 tokens worse off than I was at the start of the season. I'm very pleased to see that my farming has all but covered my token spend already. Should I not farm again all season and just collect my daily allowance I will be going into the next season with more tokens than I started this. To me, keeping that model going will always be ideal, as then my reserves for playing this game will always grow.

I've now got 7 players at scout level (5 that were 7 star from last season after I power trained - while two more have grown to scout level today having been bought a cone or two away from it off the market), while I have 11 players that are between 1 and 10 cones away from joining them at scout level too.

Already out of the cup, but looking good already to win both the CL and the League. I'm by far the strongest team in my league so unless someone drastically improves their squad then I can't see myself being in any trouble what so ever. In the CL there are only two clubs close to me in quality, but I am stronger than both currently, so feeling happy that I will do well in that too.

Already casting an eye onto the NEXT season, with the idea to try and farm around 200 extra Tokens this season. Due to work and footballing commitments I won't have much free farming time this season so to try and get 200 is a realistic target for me.

Academy FC had 3 matches scheduled today, and the first two are in the books.

First, in CL Group Play, Academy FC beat Maxi und FC 12-1! Tom Lorenz scored FIVE goals and assisted 1. Santo Tarpani also scored two and notched 1 assist.

The 2nd match of the day was much closer, as Academy FC (27.1*) kicked off league play against Onimod FC (28.5*). The game started slow, and one player from each team picked up a yellow in the first 10 minutes. The second half was more of the same, back and forth possession, slight chances scattered throughout.. Finally, in the 90th minute, Emin Samadov broke the tie and propelled Academy FC to a 1-0 victory!

The 3rd match of the day is another league match to be hosted by Qalatasary SK (17.9*).

Autopilot Update - We'll not access that account for the entire season, I can just look at the league table from my current chatting account.

We were out of the Cup with a draw and a defeat, while collecting a 4-0 win in the league and a win in the Champions League. We have actually faced a very tough team, Pengampon FC (31.5 Average quality), however his team mostly consists of 3* players and it was his scout, and the 4 remaining 5* players in his team that boosts the average. Another affiliate team Atletico Madrid, who were also in the Champions League in the previous two seasons, also joining the party.

Speaking about the Champions League, a tournament which I haven't won on any teams for over a year now. I will do a Pepsi Bucket Challenge if we won it on autopilot.

Cup Qualifying: Having not been impressed by def c-a on 4-5-1V on the very few occasions he had tried it, Buffs Mad decided to give it a proper go this Season in the Cup.

Opposition set up in a 4-5-1 Flat and Buffs, as above, went 4-5-1V in a Defensive (Force) Counter-attacking stylee.

Buffs FC won 4-0 at home. Buffs Mad was quite impressed given that his Left and Right Backs scored alongside the Left Winger and Left MC. Lone Striker McCoist gave 2 assists. But its early days yet.

    Goals: Baxter (28), Gemmell (32), McGrain (59), Gemmill (76).
