in season 8 and just had my worst injury so far 12 days out
what is the worst you get on this game my previous worst was 6 days
I had 15 days twice last season
just had a 15 yesterday
cheers guys seems you get longer injuries the more into game you are
Season 8 and your worst injury had been 6 days?
What are you, a wonder boy?? :D
For breaking a leg you get over 20 days if I remember correctly, had it twice already :)
The injury duration get bigger and bigger as you climb up the level...
It because now your medical team is generating more Treatments Pack which Nordeus should suck up in order to make us buy Treatments for Tokens...:D...
That's why the Turf update is fully cosmetic...:D...
I have to disagree there, SSS. I've fully upgraded and haven't had as many long injuries, all injuries are less time, and I have more red packs.
The longest I ever had was 21 days and it was many seasons ago.
LoL...
Did you had any long term injuries in your FPL...I guess the answer is no...In starting levels you only have Hamstring Grade 1, Calf Strain Grade 1 injuries but as you Level Up players will tend to have Hamstring Grade 3 and Calf Strain 3 blah blah blah...
I think it because at initial level we are playing Local Level Football so injuries are also less serious but as we progress in Level and start playing at World Level the injuries also become more serious due to the pressure exerted on player due to fierce competitiveness at World Level...
And after every turf update they say it reduces the change of injuries by X %...If we go by that then there should no to very less injuries when we fully upgrade our turf but still a lot of injuries happens...:D...
Here is the pitch improvement which we can do...
Attachment 28335
Now considering injury probability to be 100%...
Sprinklers L1 reduces injury rate by 10%...
High-quality Grass L3 reduces injury rate by 20%...
Artificial Turf L6 reduces injury rate by 30%...
Water Drainage L9 reduces injury rate by 40%...
Under-soil Heating L12 reduces injury rate by 50%...
So lets calculate : 100*(90/100)*(80/100)*(70/100)*(60/100)*(50/100) = 15.12
So after the whole Turf Update injury rate should decrease from 100 to 15.12 which is certainly not true...:D...
So conclusion is Turf Update is purely cosmetic...:D...
I have just a few injuries a season on BvB that aren't from power training. (21 days/2 guys last season match injury, 44 days from hard training 11 guys)
One of my Teams, Domino FC, only had *one* injury.
StL Steamers, a 35Tteam, lost 44 days worth in total last season, playing all 3 comps.
Considering all the complaints on here, I think I'm doing something right, so if it isn't upgrading (which I think it is in part), why do I never have issues like everyone else?
p.s. I suck at math, what you posted doesn't make sense to me.. isn't more like the traveling half way and never getting there, since 100% changes every time?
p.p.s I sold off the long term injuries of the Republic.
There's no big secret to avoiding injuries (some things do help but only slightly) and there's no big conspiracy to suck up packs - low levels get big injuries too. ;)
You're lucky or you aint ;)
I don't know Cat but I have shown you the calculation there's no way that the injury probability decreases from 100 to 15.12...
I could be that you have injury free players...I am also building a squad of injury free players, in the process I have sold my 3 good players this season...
Now my squad has many players who don't get injured at all...:D...
And as far as Turf Upgradation is concerned every manager would have definitely upgraded them to full but they are still having lots of injury...:D...
Save red packs for best players, don't use them on reserves, sell long-injured players
No, some people ignore the building. Whenever I am away and the stadium is too small I get concerned for injuries.
Then please do some math for me. I have a full Squad of 22 players. Which mean possible 616 "days" right? So what is 65 days percentage wise to 616?
Neah, he's just my "dream doggy"
He's not mean :D - but he is thinking about it.
Here's my injury log & summary details as of the end of last season
21 injuries this season, one every 1.3 days on average, two days in a row I had 2 in a match in the league, away games at abandoned teams with rubbish pitches which blew out the average. My star striker Alawa was injured 3 times, but 41 goals in 29 matches is worth a few med packs!

Summary by season:

Early last season lots of people were reporting an increase in injuries in friendlies, including me, but that levelled out over the season. Note for Cat, I play a 22-man squad, same as you, and I try to only give players 1 match a day, plus 1 of each type of training (with occasional power training on top), and I never play/train anyone who's below 80% rested. So you could use my injury probabilities as a guide - basically a 1 in 5 chance of an injury in any match*, and a 1 in 15-20 chance** in any training.
Types of injury:
Attachment 28350
Early days, but it looks a bit like injuries fall into 3 or 4 classes: Common (ankle strain & grade 1 hammy), moderate (hammy grade 2/3, ACL, Knee Cartilage), lower moderate (thigh/groin/heavy ankle strain) and rare (the rest)
* if you play 2 matches a day that's a 40% chance of at least 1 injury across the squad. If you play 5 or more (Sid, I'm looking at you ;) ) you can EXPECT at least 1 injury a day - though if you're using rest packs pre-match that may drop a little
** So 1 of each type of training a day = a 1 in 5 or 6 chance of an injury.
Combining the above, I average 0.6 injuries per day. People who work their squads harder should expect more than that.
Well examining the wording on the Grass upgrade, and given the "NEW COMMENTS" debacle, what does "Lowers the probability of injury by xx%" mean, from what number? It is not clear just like their comments today, I'm still just guessing what their commentary mean, Is lower 50% from the original 100% or from the latest probability of injury, WHO KNOWS! Your calculations are correct, but we can't really understand the premise.
Nordeus is too busy with online gambling to really bother with us now, so best to suck up the injuries.
I would expect mine to be lower cos I'm always out of Cup, and higher when I power train (which it most certainly is)
But indeed, without knowing what the initial 100% signifies, there is hardly any good way to know exactly what effect the improved facilities have.. besides someone starting two teams on the same level and never upgrading the facilities on one, and play the same number of matches as the other which upgrades normally...and have everything else exactly equal. :D
OMFG... people, stop! It's just a game.
In the other hand, Pete, congratulations for this accurate graphic. Day by day and season statistics with all what you write.
Print it out, go in front of Nordeus building, get a rock, attach the paper to rock and throw it in a fenster so they can see some stats'. Grats mate again!!!
Part of the fun of some games is playing with numbers. http://forum.topeleven.com/images/smilies/smile.png
Especially ones that involve statistics. (Is any one else here a fan of baseball?) http://forum.topeleven.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png
IF. If I had the exact same players you have with your orders and formations (and opponents, for that matter -- their facilities probably affect too)
Both lots of fun with statistics... not too surprising then. :D
Where I grew up there's baseball fans, and those people who moved in from somewhere else.
I like fun with numbers and soccer, not too surprising I like T11 either. :)
I can bet you that if you keep the track of your injuries at initial level when you have not done any TURF upgrade the percentage of injuries will remain the same...
The only thing that will change is the probability of getting long term injury...At higher higher level there are more long term injury in order to even out the increased treatment packs that we get...:D...
I have used 100 only because the maximum probability of any thing to happen can be 100...
From what number it doesn't matter what matter is this :
If X is the probability of injuries to occur at initial level when no TURF update has been done then according to Nordeus after fully upgrading the TURF the new possibility of injury should be (X*15.12)/100 which is certainly not true...:D...
So let what ever be the number, after full TURF upgrade the injury rate should only be 15.12 % of it...
So ask yourself does the injury rate decrease by 84.88% from level 1 to the level when you have full TURF upgrade...
I still thinking that when season start the game select players with more probability of injurie... sometimes I see the same 3 times and others don't,,,, in my experience all change every season.. some seasons more, some seasons less...
now I do a tanking usually of 2 seasons so I save greens for when I play... and done xD
There can be one more theory that :
At initial level the chances of injuries are low because the players are playing at low level a less competitive and physically demanding football...But as you move up the level the chances of injuries increase so in order to keep the chance of injury same as earlier upgrade your
TURF...
Other wise at higher level you will have more injuries than at lower level...So TURF upgrade only stop the increase in injuries that can happen at higher level...:D...
