I just came across this today and I have a screenshot to help explain it:

The player I am moving can play as a DC or DMC. Those positions are highlighted, but the full back positions and the MC position is highlighted in yellow. And the other positions are dark. So I am just guessing here but I think nordeus has made it so depending on a players position, he is able to play in certain positions without having a big morale or possession penalty. Anyone else have some input?

It might not actually change anything. It could just be a new graphical representation of what has always been the case.

The interesting one for me was MC's not being able to cover wing and vice versa - previously the assumption was that you could get away with that. And previously we didn't know you could swap someone from 1 wing to the other without much penalty. So either that's a change, or a much-needed clarification. The wing swap seems odd, but at least it matches up with the way wing autosubs work.Quote:

Well, I would guess it to vary depending on the individual player's attributes. I have most of my MC's will higher attacking than defending...I expect they'd make better AMC's than DMC's.
Nordeus has officially put the stamp on CRAZY FORMATIONS, by doing this. As if the "Total, Absolute, Perfect, Supreme" formation crowd wasn't nutty enough.
Ok here we go! Something is going to change with this addition. Got a bad feeling about this.
It'll be the same penalty as before imo. (Hmm, should I really mention the simple multiplier thing again and hear cries of "thats too complex" hmmm)......it'll be a multiplier ;p applied to the Q/attributies of a player in yellow and for red it'll be that + possession penalty.
No matter what an individuals qualities there will be a reduction in an adjacent position....imo.
