Which player should I choose?

I am LV5. I have a DC who had been playing in my team for 3 seasons(yes, he has good performance.) he is a aerial defender and has 4 stars,38 quality. I have enough tokens for a scout and I have been eying a 23 year old DC, 49 quality. The problem is he is a penalty kick specialist and it has nothing to do with defending. The defendinf attributes of the scout and my player is the same and the scout is better in attack and Physical and mental. What should I do? Keep my player or switch him out with the scout?(PS all the DCs in my list are penalty specialists. Thank you for helping.)

And freekick and corners are most useful when offensive player has them. My favourite combination is ST corner specialist.
I had few players like this, they are amazing, 25+ league assists per season.
Don't add your defender skill points on attack skills. Don't add skill points on defensive skill for offensive players (AM, ST)

If you have tokens to buy scouts, then I suggest you to buy ONLY mildfielders. The best you can find is MC quallity x4/x9, age under 25.
Otherwise buy nordgens and give them proper training, just like this one...
