Which player should I choose?

I am LV5. I have a DC who had been playing in my team for 3 seasons(yes, he has good performance.) he is a aerial defender and has 4 stars,38 quality. I have enough tokens for a scout and I have been eying a 23 year old DC, 49 quality. The problem is he is a penalty kick specialist and it has nothing to do with defending. The defendinf attributes of the scout and my player is the same and the scout is better in attack and Physical and mental. What should I do? Keep my player or switch him out with the scout?(PS all the DCs in my list are penalty specialists. Thank you for helping.)

If he's playing well and getting good ratings, I don't see any need to change him. Save your tokens for when you need them.

Don`t buy scout they may perform o`k but training is shocking, try and get young 5 star player from market as they train a hell of lot quicker than scout

I agree with Shaun, if your player is consistent performer then don't give up on him... Last season I played with 1-star defender (26 games, 1x rated 6, 14x rated 7, 11x rated 8, average rating 7.38)

I have a 3 star DC who consistently plays well with ratings of 7/8. He's surrounded by a squad of 5 star & Scouts but he's my Captain and going nowhere probably until he retires in 2 seasons. I bought a 5 star cover for him but the cover player is warming the bench as he can't displace him.

Yes I agree will all who say keep him!! Defensemen that are consistant are gold, hang onto him as long as you can.

Since I failed to promote now everybody is 5 or 6 stars on my team. Except this guy:



I know they are not the most sparkling #'s but that 6 in League is the first in a couple seasons. (Cup he was in for the 6-0 loss, too, but the opposing team was all 6 and 7 stars) He will stay until the game decides for him to retire.

trust me ... those stupid skills is not that important aside from freekick and corners

And freekick and corners are most useful when offensive player has them. My favourite combination is ST corner specialist.
I had few players like this, they are amazing, 25+ league assists per season.
Don't add your defender skill points on attack skills. Don't add skill points on defensive skill for offensive players (AM, ST)

If you have tokens to buy scouts, then I suggest you to buy ONLY mildfielders. The best you can find is MC quallity x4/x9, age under 25.
Otherwise buy nordgens and give them proper training, just like this one...

agree work better with attacking players
for wingers or AM, shadow striker can be useful too but player need to be scout level , once he dropped from scout he was not as efficient
otherwise player maker, header, block ..etc. all bulllsh!t
had 3 header in my back 4 with more quality players than opposition, yet still conceded from corners !! explain this sh!t
