Can I use my unsigned skill points for better next season’s CUP draw ?

Hi my friends

First of all, I would like to say some words about my team. I have a team with 11 fast trainers 4-5 * who are gaining almost 1 skill point every p. training (practice match/3 bars).
That’s why I have those unsigned skill points which I believe they will be over 1500 till the end of season.

Those fast trainers 'll be 6* at the end of the season.
I have 2 6* players, one scout of this season and one from previous season, and finally 7 experienced players 4-5*.
As you can see my course bellow, I won some titles but I really like to win the tremble (at least once).

Next season (lv5) probably I ‘ll have a Cup LV9 (hopeless). :(

I was thinking keeping the gaining skill points for most of my younger 7-8 trainers, sell the olders and also those veterans to have a better draw in next season.
If I had a draw at level 6 Cup, at least I could have some chances.

Do you know if unsigned skill points count for next Cup ?
I would like answers from veteran players who tried it with success (or not), because I read many threads and I didn’t have a “clear” conclusion . :confused:

The unsigned skill points will be calculated too. So, it won't help you for the next cup.

I 'm a rookie but I read many threads in the forum.
Some exp. players tested some (other) things and from the results had strong evidence.
Sometimes members of the forum asked Nordeus people and get answers.
But how do we know about this one ?

They are calculated, i personally tested it out on my alt team, had over 60 sp for each player, about 650 in total and kept them on purpose to see if they are being counted for the cup draw- yes they are.
There's no point to save them

For other managers experience we know it, too training speed will be reduced if you win a star "in virtual form" without assign the skill points.
Is true that too we can say that in this game there's no a place of rules that say how work that, and will be interesting to create it... so for now.. we have the experiences of managers that during these years in the forum proved how the game works, and I can assure you that unassigned cones count in the general Quality, but not in visible mode.

Lv 9 cup = 45Q or higer as average..
Found out that i usually get placed in Lv 8 cup with 40-45Q and Lv 9 with 45-50.

Only when you want to sell THE player i would let him before THE next star (4 or 9 ) else it makes no sense to not assign them. Cup draw Goes with youre best 14 players so when you buy at last day 6 1stars players you get a easier draw

Beckstar gave the complete answer I was asking for, by posting his own example.
I searched with "key" words all the forum, I found some relative threads but I didn't find any thread that an older player post his personal example and it didn't work.
Instead I've found threads that some people said that it help them for the next season and some others said the opposite but without explain why not.

Trust us on this one, BeckStar proved, others have as well.

The only way to change your Cup draw is to dismantle your Team down to 14 players, with very low star guys in the reserves to pull down your Q. Now, if you have an average Team you will get drawn into your own level Cup..

That's how im actually programming my cup draw..
We'r now in the knock out stage and whenever i check other teams they'r like 10Quality below me.
This tactics requires about 300tokens/season as long as you've got fast training guys.. ofc you could do it the regular way with a 5 star team, the result will be the same..
Whenever you decide to buy the 3stars guys, go for those 18 Y.o with lowest quality (0 or 5) ending so that you can use them for another 14-15 seasons and aplay the same tactics.
In 3-4 seasons thoes 3 stars would be uber low quality.. you would be getting even easier draws as long as you keep them in.
On day one i usually have to get a DL & GK for my top11 players, get some subs and u'r good to go.. i usually buy 5star players and keep them as substitutions then sell them in the end of the season and go back to basics like i started.

Maybe the stars will align and at the end of some season I'll be willing to get rid of enough guys to do it.
But.. I rather doubt it, I keep too full a squad and would have to sell off more than I can force myself to do. :D

I don't know how could that help them because when you don't add skill points, then you sacrifice quallity.
I'd suggest to add SP only on physical attributes until players quallity needs 1 skill point to become scout.
This way your player will have better condition and you can train him even more.

I don’t want to say bu..it about how I create this team from nothing.
I’m not a junior player, I ‘m a working guy.
I started buying a pack of 25OT plus an offer (real cloud). Also some farming if possible.

After that I spent a lot of time reading about the game, keep in touch every day, learning tips and tricks. ;)
My goal is to win as many titles I can (League and CH.L) and win one treble. I can’t (and it isn’t the spirit of the game) to buy 250T every season but if there is no other way, maybe I would spend once more for the treble. :p

It's not about trust, I 'm kind of "doubting Thomas" :o like we say in Greece and as I said I search a lot and I didn't find any examples like Beck's.

Also I find it irrational ,you know, unsigned skill points doesn't count for player's contract or comparing to another team or player's performance but count for training or Cup draw.

No offense my friend, as I explain before, no one answer with a show-case like Beckstar did.
I search the forum but I didn't find anything in older threads.
I found an old thread about a team that won 8-9 trebles in a row. I saw comments that congratulate him but didn't read any comments that maybe this was fake or this guy was spending 400 T every season to do this.
Finally I found that in many things there are "grey zones" even from exp. managers, like
affection of win bonus, use of right/left foot, some special abilities, arrows, offside trap and last week about an illegal formation of 4-3w-3 etc.:(

My friend Beck post a thread how he is preparing for the next season. He was very analytic and of course I have bookmark his thread.;)

The problem isn't only the (beginning) quality but the fact that those 2 or 3 upper-level managers start buying cheap 4* and 5* players like almost everyone and those players are 6-8* for me :mad:

I also bought any low Q players free agents I found, plus a gift – a 2* academy player (GK again). Probably I ‘m the only one who was happy getting academy player, last day of the season.
So the last hours of the season (at level 4) my team ended up like this (4*, about 35Q plus 100 unsigned skill points I kept so to sign first some new contracts). The team as ended.

Previous season (lv3) when I finished with a team similar like picture no 1, I started my (lv4) Cup in lv 7 . So I disqualified on the second round by a team 2 lv above. :(

There was a risk that I might had an early Cup game with my team uncompleted.

The good news : My Cup draw match was noon and in my Cup there were many lv5 teams (like me) many lv6 but not high Q and I spotted 2-3 lv7. There too many teams so I didn’t check every one.
The bad news : no good Nordgen in the market, bidding wars for 3rd class youngsters and mercenaries ( I call that way 24-28 y.o. , 5* players, slow trainers, descent players for 1st team or rotation, many of them x-scouts).

I bought an agent/scout , MC with F-K sa and 2 mercs 5*, one in 2nd round and the other in 8th round and played my first Cup match with 12 basic players (enough to make a sub so take the green) and won a 6lv team. It was weaker ½ star.

Today I found early in the morning , (7 a.m. for Greece -5 a.m. GMT) my first nordgen. This happened accidentally.
I check the market –nothing. After a few minutes check again and suddenly I saw his auction ending in 8’ min. Another manager (a “loaded” one)was already there. The player was 18 y.o., 5* MC, with value 9M’. :o
After a bidding war of 9T (for me- the other guy in 2-3 rounds was hitting twice) and doing the “leader” trick ;), he was mine.

I gave him a new name and nationality – “DIRCEU” from the legendary Brazilian player of World Cup 1978/1982. (my team is dedicated to Brazilian legends).

After that, today I played the second Cup game (out), I won again and waiting for the next opponent with the hope I will not fall into a lv7 player who decided to rebuild his team.
This is my team now, with some mercs and rest fast trainers, hopping for a few more good nordgens. :p

Hi.. Has anyone got any views on the number of tokens u spend affecting the level of cup you're entered in the following season? No hard facts i can give but anecdotally, i have noticed that if i have a splurge (50+ tokens by my definition :-) ) in a particular season i seem to end up in a higher level cup.. (Compared to if i just spend 20 to 30 tokens).. Any thoughts from anyone? First post.. Lv 17

It's logical. The more you spend, the higher your (relative) average quality at the end of the season. And since your Cup level is determined by your average quality at end of season ...

Nop. At my case nothing to do with Tokens. If you read my thread as Beckstar, it's only the level of quality that counts. I had about the same amount last season. This is my third season with the same management. I bought
1 agent/scout, 2-4 veterans, 3-5 fast trainers and nothing in facilities or else. This season I dropped my Q and now have many opponents lv5, lv6 and very few lv7. I noticed one guy from lv4. It's like I was in his position last season :(

I noticed a flaw in this system. With that system (dropping Q with 5-6 low Q players) I started this season in a very strong league. The other seasons, with a very strong team, my Cup was very difficult but in the league I had easy opponents. Now I 'm 4th in Q in the league.
An underdog.

I wonder where did they go, all those "good" friends I made these last days :confused:

Hi.. Thanks for thoughts.. I've noticed the same pattern with my quality affecting my 'seeding' (if u want to call it that) for.the league draw.. One season recently i didn't have a high quality at end of day 2 of season and was third strongest by rating (and third in list of teams before any games played - don't know if that list means anything) whereas normally I'm the strongest in my league.. So I've tried.inreasing my quality as.much.as possible on day 1 and 2 of season to keep.weaker cup.but easier league

League : I started rather badly, with 2W-1D-1L in 4 first games but now I 'm first.

Those teams are 5* (in position 2,4,7,8) and (in position 3,5) 4* teams !
Previous season I had a friend with a 4* team (finished in 3rd position) and now he is first in his league where the 5 top teams are 3*-4* :eek:

So far the flow of that trick is that :
Yes, you 'll have an easier Cup with many teams from your level, but you 'll be in a difficult League as an underdog.

Last season I got the tripple crown. I did it the hard way. I was in the cup at level 4 with levels as high as 7 with me. I beat them and it was the most fun I had playing this game. You can win by tricks, but you are only fooling yourself. This is a game you play alone on the computer if you have to cheat yourself to win, how pathetic is that? It is a game! Play to win but really win don't cheat to win because if no one else knows you know that you cheated and the win is worthless.

Still no reason to cheat yourself Sherifon. What is the point? You win but you know you won by cheating. It is a hollow victory. And if you lose it is actually worst isn't it? You can't say the other guy bought his was or cheated because you actually are doing that. Play the game for fun and as a challenge. If you win you feel great if you lose its a game. if you have more of your ego invested in it, you need some pills. ;)

Personally I don't sell my players to get an easier draw that's why I won the cup once !! but more than 75% of T11 do this trick " not a cheat already "
