Formula 1 FC (Formerly known as **** Team FC or Galactico FC) season so far. It is a clean sheet galore from the team due to not qualifying for the CL ; so I can just focus on two comps, the 0-0 draw is quite worrying though as the team might bow out in the qualifying stage leaving them with one day game for the rest of the month :/

League match yesterday went terrible, played against opponent in last seasons league.. Jo'Burg FC opened the score from ST Artico, then opponents scored before the break. 79' Jo'Burg FC ST Detloff converted but 1 min later opponent equalized!!! On the 90th min opponent scored to end 3-2!! Manager couldn't make any subs as he was driving from work, newly purchased MR got a rating of 3, previous match a rating of 5... TRANSFER LISTED SAME TIME!!! Manager is fuming!! Lets hope todays match goes well

Finally managed to get something from TM, high end 22yo few points from scout, that someone in my league was selling, so like buying from scout list but managed to get him for 10T but he may be crap as saw his stats and form but what can u do as seen nothing all season.
Just be careful bro... Bought a 5* MR, his stats were also bad but bought him for 1T as the TM was up to crap and nothing changed... Played him in 2 matches, got ratings of 5 then 3, put him right back to the TM.... Let us know how he performs..Quote:

Level 5:
League: Currently sitting in 3rd with a 3-1-0 record. With the top two teams sitting on a perfect 15 points from 5 matches, we'll end the day at 3rd no matter what.
Champions: Picked up a 4-1 away win against a team which has two first place CL trophies and a 3rd place showing in three attempts. This moves us to a perfect 9 points from 3 matches. Today, we used a 4-4-2 classic against a 4(Dl-dc-dc-dc)-3n-3. Jumped up 1-0 before switching around the 30th minute to a 4-1-4-1. We're now 6 points clear of 2nd, setting up nicely for the round of 16.
Cup: Advanced to the playoffs off a 7-0 agg. win! Next opponent's formation has me a bit worried though (3n-1(dml)-3n-3)!!! Tough matchups in the cup is the norm though! I just don't like playing against formations which the recommended counter is either a 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-1V, since those have gotten me into trouble seasons past.

No... If you find a fast training MR play him OOP and spend that T on Green boosters to train him as often as you can; add role AMR for not much more cost, and you'll get longer use of him AND be able to sell him on.Quote:

Yesterday was an important day, psychologically, for the Buffs. CL match gave the side the opportunity to put the opening rond defeat to rest and go top v a 4-1-3N-2. It also gave an opportuntity to refine the system ahead of the top of the league clash against the same formation.
Champions league: The Buffs stepped out in a 4-3N-2W-1 to face the Group leager's 4-1-3N-2. Two goals from the Lawman and a hat-trick from newly signed right winger Willie Johnston secured the 5-0 win. The Buffs now top the Group on goal difference.
League: The Buffs faced a stern test against the (same Q) league leader but persisted in 4-3N-2W-1, albeit electing to start defensively and trying to hit them on the break.
Two goals in the first half hour put the Buffs ahead. Nerves tightened slightly when the Buffs were caught at a corner shortly after the restart but withing 6 mins CK specialist Archie Gemmill scored in off Paul Lamberts head. :p 15 mins later the opposition struck again as their Super-sub tore the Buffs rearguard apart. But within a minute Right Winger Willie Johnston repaid his transfer fee in full with a crucial solo effort. 4-2 the final result.

With 3 new transfer captures and a heavy training schedule the Buffs have now closed the Quality Gap and are just ranked second to the full 6* Quality leader, who lies 6th. O.o
