Despite what you see, after 6 games. I am still the most probable winner of this League of Death!
All the other OMA masters Managers feel my presence and they are all conspiring against me.:confused:
My sheer brilliance in management is only overshadowed, by my humbleness. LOL~:cool:
They have all stooped so low as to use condescending psychological warfare against me with encouragement, helpful words and well wishes.
Except for Sidd, he is honestly mean and hurtful, which I admire and appreciate.....LOL~ :p
This league will not be won by anyone with 21 games, not even 18, 16 wins will make you champion.. that is how tough it will get!

8 shots on target and 4 goals prompted Buffs Mad to say "That's 4 missed opportunities."

League: Forgot to get up in time to watch the match. The guy changed his formation and I got lucky to even get a draw. This result puts me even more back in the league ranks. Damn it!

CL: Managed to win against the highest Q in my group. It was the biggest challenge and I won away. Now time to convert the home game.

Cup: Ugh!! Worst score ever. Seriously, the away game will not be easy. I didn't get one goal in despite my attempts. I really don't want to be out of the cup so early.

League: You can say that I'm a genius manager. What a match that was. Was losing 1-3 at half time, made some tactical changes and managed an AMAZING comeback! Al Nawayseh with the hat trick. The Schreyeck/Al Nawayseh duo is working quite well. And also I finally beat my nemesis: THE WIDE DIAMOND!

Well where do I start...
Cup:
Fridays cup match went super well, 1st leg was a 0-0 draw away, 2nd leg got a 4-0 win! Through to the playoffs.. Now facing a token buyer that happens to also be in my league. Played an away match against cup opponent that in my league and got a nice 1-1 draw.. Wait an see what happens in the 2nd leg.
CL:
Currently sitting 3rd after Jo'Burg FC lost 3-2 at HOME! MC got sent off before the break and opponent scored 2 min after to make scores 3-2, and thats how it ended!! Playing same opponent today.
League:
Saturdays match was the most difficult out of all as opponent hasnt lost and scores 4+ goals every match. Jo'Burg FC played fantastic despite losing 1-0! Sunday played opponent which is also in my cup draw, got a 1-0 away victory... This is one tough league and wont be easy to make it to the top 4.. Will have to see half way how things are going.
Transfers: Woke up saturday morning (3AM) to check the TM and NOTHING!!! Checked again at 4AM and BOOM, TM full of young 5* players... Bought 7 of them! Sold 8 other players who were under performing... Hopefully the new signings can make a difference especially in the league!
Standing with the students in the UmBrella Revolution is dangerous.
Guarding the barricades against the riot police is difficult.
Long hours at the sit-in is tiring.
Chances of winning freedom and universal suffrage is slim.

CL update:
Currently in 3rd, played opponent in 2nd. Got a nice 2-0 away victory to push Jo'Burg FC into 2nd position. Next is opponent in 1st.
League: Buffs FC used their Get Out of Jail Free card today. Buffs Mad once more elected to play 4-3N-2W-1 v opponent's 4-1-3N-2. The opposition lay in 12th place with 1 win which seems strange given his 'Q ranking'.
The Buffs toiled throughout, unable to take their chances. They had an early lead but were pegged back near the end of the half. A second strike shortly after the restart restored a tentative lead but thankfully they held on for the 2-1 away win.
The Buffs still top the league but have a stern test approaching with games against 5 of the top 7 to come before halfway. But the performance level remains high.
League: Currently 5-1-0 and sitting in 3rd place. Tonights opponent is among the weaker teams in the league, so a "W" is most likely. With the top two teams both at 7-0-0, we won't be gaining any ground though.
Cup: Lost the first leg 1-2 last night. Game plan is ready for a bounce back game tommorrow and team will be fully rested with superb morale.
Champions: Currently top the group at 3-0-0, and can clinch a birth in the round of 16 with a draw/win later today.

Champions League: Buffs Mad said "What's with all these 4-1-3N-2s this season?" So the Buffs trooped out in 4-3N-2W-1 again and won 2-0.
Buffs Mad did not attend the match, opting instead to visit franchise team Dependiente in the OMA Masters' League. This neglect was compounded when reserve AML Cooper was stripped for action but the other regular was not informed he might be needed as a Sub and ofc the AMR got a 10 day injury after 24 mins to force the Buffs to play on with 10 men.
After the match Buffs Mad said "It wisnae me."

Kentucky FC update:
After the home loss in the first match we are good leading our CL group with 7 points. But the competition is tough, the second has 7 points, too. 3rd and 4th place with 5 and 3 points still have chances to advance. In the league we sadly lost our first match. The other manager switched the team close to the match from 4-4-1-1 to 4-4-2 and my Narrow Diamond lost 1-2. :( But hey, we still top the league table and KFC should learn from such matches.

Today's matchesLeague: Joke of a game. Tried a 3-4-3 formation against a 4-4-2 that had players at the wrong place. I don't know what happened. My players were drunk, blind, tired? God knows. I needed a lucky free kick converted by my MR that I just brought in. The number of attempts failed is stupid. But clearly, 3-4-3 is not an option against 4-4-2 as even a bad one will still get attempts and hold you back from actually scoring.

CL: And we get the victory at home. McGuiness is incredible, I think he's some kind of shadow striker without the SA. The amount of long distance shots he takes and actually transforms into goals is insane. Also the Schreyek/Al Nawayseh connexion working perfectly. He watched the game, but it was too late, he could only be a spectator of his demise. If all goes according to plan, I'm ending first of the group.

What tactics you think they using for 4-1-3w-2? Cz im clueless, have tried 4-5-1 v with my ST playing in the AMR position as I dont have an AMR, I must say he hasnt underperformed... Sad day for football fans all over the world... Last night FK Partizan best player of all times, AMR Djogovic got his first rating 6 in careeer, after 169 consecutive games with no rating less than 7... :( He took 3 FK in 3 minutes and opponent's goalie saved all 3 with his fingertips, sending the ball to corner and all 3 headers from corners ended at the wrong side of posts...

I just wanted to say that I have returned from the 5-days Japan trip. Time for me to think about a new team
League: Buffs FC take on 5th (3pts behind) while 2nd and 3rd shoot it out.
Opposition emerge in 4-3N-3 so the Buffs morph easily into 4-1-4-1 and elect to counterattack.
Graeme Souness scores a solo goal from the first fast break on 3 mins. Paul Lambert adds a second as he's put clean through by Alan Hansen on 33 mins. Denis Law then puts the game to rest with a shimmy and a samba sway as he slides it into the corner after 78 mins.
4th draws and 2nd loses to 3rd (Q leader) so Buffs emerge with a 2pt gap before facing second tomorrow.
Now for the Cup and Buffs Mad seems intent on expanding his talent pool as he calls up the Dinner Ladies, Souvenir Shop girls and the Ball Boys to defend the 4-0 lead. We don't need an increase in Squad total. ;)
Cup match against opponent in my our league. Opponent is currently doing worse than Jo'Burg FC in the league (shocker). 1st leg was a 1-1 away draw. Home match got a 3-0 win!! We can actually get a win!! Next round of the cup to follow, 1st time Jo'Burg FC got this far in the cup since season 2!! Well up boys.
Cup: Buffs FC reserves and canteen staff try their best to throw the tie away but rally from 3-1 down for a 3-3 draw and 7-3 agg win.
Buffs Mad said "Never underestimate your opponent.....but Agnes McLeish, who does the Pies and Baked Goods, isn't a bad left back. ;) "

Cup: All teams in the Buffs franchise made it through the Cup Qualifying phases.
Shangalang FC followed up on a 3-0 home win with a 0-0 draw - ST Lee Low is now expected to reach the 250 games mark sometime this Season;
Celtic Rangers had a more difficult task after a 1-1 home draw but triumphed 3-2 away courtesy of ST Thomson's 11th and 12th goals of the Cup campaign.
Dependiente overcame their managers boredom and strange decision making with a 2-0 win.

This League of Deathis aptly named, and the league heats up with controversy and bickering.
The other OMA masters Managers a carefully falling into my master comeback plan.
As I am perfectly placed for my second half comeback, out of sight and out of sound....
This is my gift to the other OMA managers. They will never know what hit them. A league to remember.
All their petty arguments, foolish training programs. ineffective formations, delusional tactics, grandiose star players will be overshadows by their horrendous epic fail that they will experience from my hands.

Saw the round of 16 draw this morning and we are now facing the opponent that beat me 2-0 in the league... How sad! Atleast it will give us a chance to see their weaknesses!
