League: 7-1-0, 2nd place. 5 pts back of leader, whom we play tommorrow. With a win tonight it will be able to potentially overtake them for 1st place.
Champions: 5-0-0. Didn't watch today's match. It didn't matter as the group was clinched with a 5-0 win over the bottom of the group squad.
Cup: 5-0-1. Scored 2 second half goals, for a 2-0 road win, reversing a 1-2 home loss to advance to the round of 16. played the first half in a 3n-1-4-2 against a 3-1(dml)-3n-1-2. Switched to a 3n-4-3 at the half as a desperation ploy to try and make up goal difference.

and thanks that I joined near the minute 70 and changed Hasan Sas for Etter I won 1-2 because this guy scored the 1-2 under the minute 90' LOL

Champions League: The Buffs gain revenge for their second only real trolling ever (a defeat in the opening CL match). Today they won 3-0 v the group basement boy, whose only points came from us. Goals were courtesy of 2 MCs and the left back.
League: The Buffs travelled away to the highest Q team who lay 2nd 2pts behind. It was a thrilling 0-0 with the Buffs V-style battling it out with the opponents ND. Both goalkeepers rated 8 and Man of the Match went to the opposition DR.
The Buffs remain 2pts in the lead.

My season so far:
Scoring was a big problem last season, fortunately this seasons it goes much better.
League:
9-0-0, 1st place with 3 points more than 2nd and 9 points more than 3rd-5th. In 2days an important away game against 2nd.
Cup:
5-1-0, it's going great at the moment and I'm stronger than my next round opponent and my possible QF opponents.
CL:
4-1-0, 3 points more than 2nd and already certain of 1st place due to better result against him. Normally I should of won with 10-0 or more today but my opponent didn't have 11 eligible players. So it was only a small 3-0 win, on the positive side I didn't get any yellow cards or injuries this match.

League: Wow, can't believe I lost that one. Bad strategy I think because he was getting through way too easily. So at this point I'm pretty much screwed for first place in the league. Ugh :(

Cup: Buffs FC welcome German side FC Hoppen to Abbey Park for Top 16 first leg. The visitors held a slight Q advantage on the pitch and lined up 4-4-2, a cup favourite and one which help them lify it last Season. The Buffs were sent out in 4-5-1 def c-a, a Buffs Mad favourite.
Twenty-one yo left winger Jim Baxter, a product of the Buffs' Academy system, opened the scoring on 22 mins from a long range strike. The vistors levelled shortly after the HT break from a FK. Baxter added 2 more on 71 and 80 minutes to bag a tat-trick.
The Buffs should have added at least one more with the pressure they exerted from corners in the last 10 mins but the visiting GK earned his 8 rating. Star Man was the visiting DC, rated 9, but Baxter was the one guzzling the Bubbly.
Got a 2-0 win over opponent lower than us... LOL!!! Finally!!

League: Buffs FC continue to scrap for every point to keep the wolves from the door.
Fifth place came a-calling today and emerged in their typical ND - the Buffs opted for 4-1-3N-2.
The visitors huffed n puffed but 2 goals from Denis "When I was at Torino...."/"The Lawman" Law, either side of an equaliser for the visitors, were enough to secure the points.
Buffs Mad said afterwards "In some quarters it costs a lot of money but at Abbey Park the spankings are free."
Got a 0-0 draw in the cup... Played at opponents home ground. Note: He wacked me 2-0 in the league so wont complain about the draw :D
We are doing well so far, hopefully we will get a good result today in CL!
League: Buffs FC travel to Thailand to meet 5th place Airfreight Utd but clearly the home side were carrying too much baggage as the Buffs cruised to a 3-0 win.
The hosts formed into 4-5-1 so the Buffs marched out in 3-5-2V. The Buffs defence dominated throughout restricting the home side to 2 shots on target and Buffs FC possessed the more potent attacking threat.
One season wonder Willie Johnstone scored twice but nervous twitches apperared on the faces of the coaching staff as he is called in for a random drug test.:eek:

Two important players in last 7 seasons left the club today... They were part of the team since foundation, defender Ljubo Simić and striker Goran Kostić. Simić will continue career in China, while Kostić signed for a club from Jordan (highly impressed at the debut in new club assisting twice and getting MotM rating 9).

Best game of the season, completely trashed his 4-1-4-1 with a 4-2-2-2 hexagon.
In 2 hours a game in CL without anything at stake, playing with a B-squad to avoid my best players getting yellow cards.

CL: 3 goals. Disappointing when you know that there was 27 shots. My guys can't seem to aim right. They're not in top form, seriously.

League: Buffs FC welcome their Turkish visitors hoping for a routine win against lower Q opponents.
Buffs 4-5-1V v opponent's 4-4-2. 3-0.
The Buffs struggled 1st half against a defensive c-a side but went in all square thanks to GK Harvey. Buffs Mad muttered "This game has draw written all over it".
Some tactical changes were made to orders and the Buffs went one ahead from Left winger Baxter. But the clincher was a penalty and sending off that nullified all the threat fro the visitors - Law (Striker) scored from the spot and Left Winger Henderson added a third.
Henderson then went down with a 4 day injury in the 86th min. GK Harvey took MoM.
Buffs' lead remains 5 pts.
(In quality terms Buffs now move up to equal 3rd by Average Q.)

We draw 1-1 against the worst team in the league to end any early possibilities of a 26-0-0 league season, The only objective that remains possible now is the treble, otherwise I would of packed it in for the season and left it on autopilot for 2 weeks.
