Depends...Choose an equilibrated team in all compartiments,like 4-4-2 classic or 4-3-3...Its annoying to change the formation every match...

There are few threads on forum about that already.
I prefer using few similar formations like 4141/451V and 31411/3142/3151/352V (all 3 narrow)
When you use one constant formation your team has continuity, but it is predictable. That way opponent can easy prepare himself.
