Its a game. Sometimes events are triggered by decisions.
You often see a substiture immediately involved - good or bad. I actually try to use that when I need something to happen. But sometimes it backfires.........
..........I've made a substitution (AMR for AMR) and lost 3 goals in 6 minutes to lose 3-0. >.<
In my experience ( I may be just unlucky) Never sub around the hour mark when in real life they do, half time is good and last 15-20 mins
Ps my avatar picture is Rowland !!!!!!!!!!!
I'll try to remember.
@OP, I should've added to my reply, for a while now there has been a strange phenomenon where you lose possession while a substitution is being waited for - between the time you save the order and the time the change is made - as if the player goes off immediately but the other needs to wait the usual time. It seems to be more pronounced for a position which is critical to your formation. It can play havoc with your chances.
...........or it was another dream
try this one, I made sub change in 68th minute CM for CM and in 69th minute he`s injured, he was fully fit and full morale but i made 2 subs in 68th minute the other was my striker for striker only for my other striker too get injured one minute after other injury, meaning i had ONE sub left for 2 injuries

Only happens when I sub my defender. It happens. So I avoid subbing defenders.
If I need to change the game, I sub around 65th min. If I jst need to get a green pack, I'll jst sub 80th

Thats what I do as well, changing formation, sub around 60+ minutes, green packs near 80 minutes (else he might not get sub).
Only just this season, I start to notice that whenever a sub is made (without changing formation) immediately, there will be an attemp to score (within the same minute the sub is made) either by your team or by the opponent. What I do (usually when winning), is when I made the Sub, I change it to defensive mentality, just in case an attack is coming. So far conceded only 1 goal using this method, other times my defenders were doing their job right.
In addition I never sub a defender, just the midfielder or striker thats not performing, unless that defender has a yellow card, and is getting a lot of fouls with warning.

Yup, there's always an immediate attempt. I just tried this before reading your reply. Subbed out my DR in the 80th min for the pack (forgotten that I had made an earlier sub due to injury), and immediately after the sub came in, the attack came from the left midfielder. They missed fortunately, but I was already 4-1 up anyway. I noticed this for the past 4 months now. More often than not they score after my sub goes in.

It's simple thing to understand like "every player are give an impact to the game"
If you put the right man in the right place(position), you'll see the effect immediately
