Season end- prepearing for new season & aiming at cup competition.

Being Lv 8 goining into Level 9 with an average of 49.7 (3stars) will asure me the easiest cup draw ever had untill now..

    Q of players: 75,66,65,65,65,65,45,45,45,41,30,30,30,30.
    A total of 697Quality points, 697/14 = 49.79
Its immportant to have your quality close to next star.. don't keep it close to 5 or 0 ending.. go for 4 or 9 like i did. I coulda make it even lower by fairing 2-3 of my 7* players but the avg Q will drop down to 46 or so.. wont make any difference as i'll be drawn in the same cup level.

On day one i'll be having my quality of Starting 11 and reserves back to 67 or so..
    You do the math
Being highest level in cup with 6-7-9stars team, competing against Low level teams with 3star teams...
hahaha, i promise to myself that Nordeus won't @@@@ me up again.. as they did with their ridiculouse cup system, having 2 2nd places in the cup competition while competing against 3-4 Lvs higher managers lead me to this decision..
    Deal with it ;D

P.S: i woulda add this to my old discusion but i couldnt find it

Does the system count 75,66,65,65,.... or 75.XX,66.XX,65.XX,....etc ? If it were the latter then it might push your average to 4 stars.

Not sure.. it could be both but one thing is sure, the average quality is done by counting the numbers on the left, not each skill point.
that's interesting ;D.. gonna figure it out cause if its as you said i would be 4*.

This is a great tactic and it seems it got developed from the pain of having bad cup draws in your past seasons, it proves that it works cause you won the treble for two seasons running now. It's great that you find a way to beat the system + It can distract you from Liverpools form..

I want to try doing this but I sadly left my team for most of last season and it requires too much moderation to my team and after spending my tokens on players I want to get the most of them, did you use personal trainer for your OP players?

Thanks. Liverpool makes me cry.. it's really painful waitching they games haha.. yep^^
I'm usually training players for like 10-12hours in a row on sunday since im free, during the week i try to try em atleast 5-6 times during the day ;D It takes long time but they pay you back on the pitch hehe.

yep, nice guide, even although I haven't done it yet. Just from the mechanics alone it'll work.

I was going to do a variation on it but missed out on Day 1 TM activity due to other commitments. (I had 10 core players and 4 FAs because I decided late with no opportunity to keep free Academy players.)

I intend to do a variation of it properly next season - I've got 1 18yo FA and I'll add 2 18 yo academy youths to them, as a minimum.

Ofc, I was getting close with a normal highly developed team with 2x 3rds in last 2 seasons but I'd quite like a guaranteed win once before going back to 'taking it as it comes'

Meanwhile, my 3rd incarnation of Celtic Rangers under the golden managerial touch of Midas 'Hairdryer' McGonnigal just got the 5th Cup win in 9 seasons old style with a naturally developed side taking it as it comes.

PS. this is more of a treble guide than cup one. Just winning the Cup is simpler. Have a crap team on Day 28 and improve it on Day 1 before the 1st tie - be the top level team in the Cup and max out the TM purchases so active opponents see your shiny 7 star squad. And hope you don't meet someone early who is doing the same.
