yep, nice guide, even although I haven't done it yet. Just from the mechanics alone it'll work.

I was going to do a variation on it but missed out on Day 1 TM activity due to other commitments. (I had 10 core players and 4 FAs because I decided late with no opportunity to keep free Academy players.)

I intend to do a variation of it properly next season - I've got 1 18yo FA and I'll add 2 18 yo academy youths to them, as a minimum.

Ofc, I was getting close with a normal highly developed team with 2x 3rds in last 2 seasons but I'd quite like a guaranteed win once before going back to 'taking it as it comes'

Meanwhile, my 3rd incarnation of Celtic Rangers under the golden managerial touch of Midas 'Hairdryer' McGonnigal just got the 5th Cup win in 9 seasons old style with a naturally developed side taking it as it comes.

PS. this is more of a treble guide than cup one. Just winning the Cup is simpler. Have a crap team on Day 28 and improve it on Day 1 before the 1st tie - be the top level team in the Cup and max out the TM purchases so active opponents see your shiny 7 star squad. And hope you don't meet someone early who is doing the same.
