Why take the risk? And in any case, if you keep putting the points into a defenders "defensive" trait, sooner or later, you are going to reach the stage where you have the maximum difference between traits (20). Then you will HAVE to assign the points to attacking. You will have no choice.

why a defensive ability should important for a striker ? so are you saying instead of adding another 20 skills points to his attacking skills is better to give it to his defensive skills to improve him !!!!? that make zero sense to me...
