Cup Draw

I am level 22 and I have never won the cup. Usualy because I played against teams 2-3 level higher. So I read here, that the cup draw is taking of 14 best players in your team. I started (6 season ago) to prepare for "my draw". I kept 5 1* players for six seasons! Yesterday I suck out all my 6* players, so my average quality of 14 best players was more less than 1*! And I have bad draw again.
So, can anyone tell me, how the draw works?!

You had 14 players, 5x 1* and the rest with 5-6* ? Your average quality should be down to 4*(previouse season) and 3* this season.
so basiclly.. you should be playing against teams withs with 3-4* players.
Note: If you'r on the highest levels of your server this will not work as i've seen cups of highest levels merging players with 130avg Q with others with 150...or so, I can asure you that this tactics works just fine as long as you'r not on top of your server..
If you'r there there's nothing to do about it :/ Unless Nordeus fix the cup draws and merge teams from other servers.
I've uploaded my cup draw on day one aplaying this same tactics, you may have seen it.

Nope. All my players were between 125 - 129 exept 6 players (80-84). I had to retire all my players, because its impossible to sell them last 14 days even they were gems. I lost more than 1 billion, but I dont care. So I had 6 1* players and 8 6*, but without contract. I got 8 new 3* (110 -114) at the beginning of seasson, so my average (I didnt count) was about 100, it means 1*. The highest level on my server is 28, I am 22 and my oponents in cup are 22-25 with very good quality, so I say, that the cup draw works in other way than 14 best players...

Players w/o contract also count in this.. would be an easy way to go around if they didnt.

anyhow.. something makes me think that you'r in the 2nd or 3rd highest cup draws in your server and probabbly they didn't have enough players to form your draw.. When you check other people Average quality, is there anyone with lower quality as you or you'r the only one ? ;D

It explains a lot, I tought, that w/o contract players aren count. But still I think I should be in lower level, maybe it counts only number of stars instead of average quality number...
