Well, you can't actually always recognise nordgens on ordinary days market. They are easy to spot at the 1st day of season when you open t11 1st time. Then game will usually show you transfer list full of nordgens . In ordinary days could be exchanged for slow growth young players because similar value; sometimes nordgens can be cheap, but usually they are quite expensive. I've payed 25-30M/player on level 9 and 10 for nordgens, but they lasted until level 14 so they payed off.
For example, you are looking for level 12 nordgen. 2 Players pop up on market, both have 18 years, similar quallity and value. One of them is slow growth but still expensive because his club-owner is on lvl13 where he has 4*, but other is nordgen but cheap one because his club is from lvl16 where he has 1* and loses on value (he isn't competitive there, thats why he's cheap).
