Few things/ideas about academy players

I was thinking, how to recognize academy players on transfer market... So, what are the most common levels of your academy players? I think I never got x4 or x9 player, but I also think I never got x0 or x5, so.. do we mostly get them on levels x1-x3 and x6-x8? Please try to remember. Do we all get them on same day? I'll get 2 new players in 2 days from now. You? You can check that info when clicking on stadium/academy. That is also important so it would be much easier to filter them on the market. Today I got an idea, how about I check my friend's team(he's 1 level higher, same server) and see if he signed that free academy player but he actually don't need him(bcs we are mostly much advanced than that player) so I ask him to sell him to me. And I did that, as I thought he didn't count on that player and wanted to sell him, so I bought him, level x3. That player played these two cup games yesterday and today for me against pretty strong opponent, check his statistic in the next image. Yeah, academy players are great it's just that we sell them bcs we can buy let's say lvl70-74 but that player we got is 67 so... very few people give them a chance.



On my level(70-74) game was asking for 10 tokens to buy him from my friend + cash ofcourse. I was thinking, should I do that or ask him to put that player on market and maybe I pay less tokens. We did second option and I succeded to buy him for 4 tokens only, but even if i payed 10 looks like it's worth it.

All this gave me another idea, i just don't know where to check on what server am I, if anyone know please tell me/us. So, the idea, we create topics let's say "Server 145 market" and then in that topic we post when we get academy players and what level are they, we also add each other as a friend ingame. I don't even have to say the rest of my idea, you get it probably. We can even create facebook group "server 145 market" if staff here forbidd us from some reason... or we can open topics in spam section dunno...

Well, you can't actually always recognise nordgens on ordinary days market. They are easy to spot at the 1st day of season when you open t11 1st time. Then game will usually show you transfer list full of nordgens . In ordinary days could be exchanged for slow growth young players because similar value; sometimes nordgens can be cheap, but usually they are quite expensive. I've payed 25-30M/player on level 9 and 10 for nordgens, but they lasted until level 14 so they payed off.
For example, you are looking for level 12 nordgen. 2 Players pop up on market, both have 18 years, similar quallity and value. One of them is slow growth but still expensive because his club-owner is on lvl13 where he has 4*, but other is nordgen but cheap one because his club is from lvl16 where he has 1* and loses on value (he isn't competitive there, thats why he's cheap).

Dude you missed the whole thing, my post is not about nordgens at all, it's about players we get from youth academy. I guess you didn't even read it lol.

i sign my non token youths and train to sell on via neg list and best return was 20 tokens for Gk that was 1 star to me, but with this apparent skill point`s auto get`s added from the 26th of this month that will mess with me earning tokens and stop me adding new positions or special ability on

Nordgens is now used for all fast-growth players. It isn't important from where they come, only important is that they have good skill progress. Personally, if player has 18 years and slow growth, I don't need him, I would rather buy some older and cheaper.
Forgot to add about academy; try to set up your academy training to finish at the beginning of season. This way you'll get that players for sale at the right moment, when you need money and when it is easier to sell at same time

@t11_fan, for me Nordgens were those players usually available at day 1 of season just after server resets, but if these from academy are also called Nordgens ok then I didn't know sorry When I started this game I didn't think about when will academy produce them but looks like i'm lucky bcs i'll get 2 players in Wednesday, that's not bad. But I think on academy maxed lvl we get players twice per season, or?

@spornybol, I didn't understand what happened at 26th? And btw how do you find buyer for negotiations? Players simply send offers or you trade with your friends?

No problem, Josip, I just got used on nordgens as synonym for fast growth players.
You can't find buyer for negotiations, but they can find you.
What you can is to make their job easier:
1) to train your player until he reaches one skill point less than X0 or X5; example - defence 60, attack 60, physical 59.8 or def 65, attack 64.8, physical 65 or
2) to find and add as friends token-rich players from lower levels (2-3). You can find them when you sell players (click on club who bought them) or
go on auctions, select 3* clubs, find some interesting player; examples: 2-3 position player, player with good SA, player whose Q is near next level (X4, X9)
Then after they accept your request for friendship, you can only hope some of them will check out your squad for possible singings.

I get the first part, but second.. what's the point of having token rich player as a friend who can buy 3* players, like you gave an example, when my academy player will be 4* to him and he won't be able to start negotiations...

Difference is in negotiations with your friend and through transfers/negotiation tab:
-when you want to buy player from friend, you can buy any player who has quallity 3-5*
-when you want to buy player through transfers/negotiations tab, you can buy players which have only 1 skill point less than scout quallity (eg. def50, att49.8, phy50)
If that token rich friend is 2 levels lower than you and you have 3* player which you don't need, that player on his level has 5*.

Man, you're the first guy I've seen equating Nordeus generated players with fast trainers.

Nordgens come from nonexistent teams to fill in auction lists and they are not always fast trainers and not always young.

Academy players on the other hand are always young while training speed varies a lot... From 30% to 160%.
