I think almost 90% of users do not actually understand the technique of this game , I mean there is no real visible simulation of the match where you can observe how your players act etc , all you shown is simple statistics of the game...
You only choose the line up and tactic scheme and a couple of options (pressing etc) and after that all is left free , you cannot see what type of combos your players perform , how they organize the attacks and all (if they actually do ), all is random ...
The way I would prefer to see the "real" football manager game is very different ... As you know, the main task of the real manager is to build up the play style and work out different combinations in the training process... On Top 11 the training consists only from boosting the skills of your players ...
In the version that I imagine , the manager should be able to work out various combinations to form the chemistry of the team , so he can choose the fitting style to each opponent... There should be visual "real time" simulation where you can see how your players actuallly perform , the combos which were worked out on the trainings should be visible in the match , and this way you can be sure that there is actually "your hand" in the whole this thing ...
I dont know whether the version of "football manager" game that I described exists or not at the moment , but it could be very nice idea for the future developers. Which version would you choose: The Top 11 which you play at the moment , or the game which I described ?
