He didn't follow the match and played a 4-1-3N-1-1.
I started with 3-1-3N-2(AMR/AML)-1, changing to 4-1-3-1-1 in the second half, after the 1-1.

Back to the tactics, why is your playmaker a DR? He's not Beckanbauer! I'm guessing you played down the flanks with long ball. You should of played short passing because your players are more skillful instead of putting in long crosses and let your lone ST face 3 DC not to mention you have to beat his DML/DMR tracking back and defend. You also probably put red arrows on your fullbacks letting Neymar getting into free space. I suggest get a more balanced squad with some arial defenders. You probably let a few in from set pieces.

you have one Striker facing 4 defenders .. i would had put 4 in mid and 2 Strikers
often expanding wide in V style can be more damaging when playing it at home, especially as opposition will set to counter & defend .. which mean his CMs can sit back as DMs and thus you will have less spaces between your wide distanced players
i played in CL a team who were 2 stars weaker than me , he played a V formation at first game and he managed to beat me at home .. next game i beat him 1-3 away as his V tactic seemed to backfired on him.
