Looks like we're nearing a transition period. Star striker Djabour, my in form nordgen, whose been a stud since level 3 is slowly losing quality as age is catching up to him; he's now 27. Today he rescued us with a penalty at the brink for a 1:0 victory over 5th, moving us 6 points clear of a non-cl spot. We should finish the day in 2nd; in this very competitive league which goes 7 deep with high quality teams. It was important to bounce back from yesterday's 2:1 setback, where my 4-1-4-1 failed to pick up points against a solid 4-3n-3; that formation is the bane of existence, especially since I usually have multiple very good strikers, whom can't play in that counter!
Champions: Clinched top spot in the group yesterday with a 2:0 victory. Tommorrow's time for the scrubs to pick up some minutes. Might not be a bad time to try and get either park the bus or bad day since our opponent is dead last in the group with 0 points, so it'll have no barring whatsoever on who earns a round of 16 spot!!!
Back from the residential trip...
While I'm on the flight home to Bangkok, AEPRE FC beaten Neyzen away from home 11-3, but we lost two important players through an injury. Luis Espinoza and Oscar both knocked off 4 and 2 days respectively.
Frederic Soumare scores a hat-trick today, the goals were also scored by the debutant Bryan Andersson, replacing the knocked off Oscar, Alfie Deyes and Pawel Sochocki.
Goalscorers Oscar 2' Saputro 13' Soumare 18' 54' (pen) 84' Sochocki 22' 61' Sugg 32' Deyes 50' 51' Andersson 60' 68' Schrattel 63' 75'
Man of the Match Sugg (9), Soumare also won a 9 rating.

Lost my cup match vs higher level opponent ,by challenging him with the same formation, both 4122w1,and I used def c. Satisfied with the stats but unlucky with the result, but for myself I stick in crucial matches with same formation as opponent ,if the line up doesn't make me much weaker. A counter formation only guarantees me more possession but same formation doesn't let u down in the important stats, so I don't care about possession as long as I get enough chances with same formation ,chances n not just the ball![]()
League: Buffs Mad was caught on the hop a bit today. Rebel team in the league, Garolou FC, had set up in X-fighter style (3W-2N-2N-2W-1) and Emperor Buffs sent his lads out in a Tie-Fighter Flat (I lied it was 4-4-2). But while BM lounged around watching videos the opponent made a late switch to 4-2(DM)N-1-3. So bang goes that series of hackneyed puns.
Garolou FC got off to a flyer with wave after wave of attacks (oops another couple slipped out) but the Buffs held firm while the reorganistion to 3N-1-4-2 took place. Better! but the team were still operating under mixed passing orders and failed to retain possession - a switch to the flanks helped further.
The game progressed pretty evenly but while the Buffs were repelling all attacks they were not making inroads up front. Garolou then picked up an injury towards the end of the first half as Buffs' hardman Dave Mackay took out a DMC. The yellow was worth it. The Buffs switched to defensive M2M with a little Whole Pitch Press thrown inWith the change made it seems the opponent had gotten restless too as, when Buffs Mad lifted his head from his clipboard, he had pushed his lone MC forward as AMC.
HT came and went without further action.
Buffs started the second quickly with a flurry of attacks. MC Dave Mackay was stretchered off after an agricultural challenge brought retribution for his earlier misdemeanor - a big blow, but one that was soon softened. The FK was pushed out for a corner but left winger Robertson scored in off ST Archibald's head. Ricksen then replaced Mackay in the centre and Robertson was again the provider within 6 mins as he slipped a low cross through the defenders legs for right winger Henderson to poke home. Even 2 corners for the opposition couldn't breech the Buffs defence as Goram punched clear. The Buffs bitz was concluded on 60 mins when it was Robertson's turn to receive. MC Brown tore the opponents defence a new one right up the middle before slipping the ball to the classy winger to steer home.
The rest you can make up yourselves from the pic.
All BM could say afterwards was "6 FKs and no goals from them. Heads will roll! - although they'll probably hit the wall too."
Buffs are now tied for top spot on pts and gd - after the leaders draw at home to the recently added 12th league friend - but are placed 2nd having scored 1 goal fewer.
PS. Our new Striker plays 2 games and scores 6 of 13 goals. Everything is rosy. Then I rename him to me and he scores 0 of the 7 scored in the next 2 matches. *meh* Voodoo!

Referee scored the opener in 40th minute sending off MC Maea (I tried to sub him, but referee was faster)... When you are a man down vs. stronger opponent in good form, all you can do is to bend over and hope it wont hurt much...Opponent's strikers scored the other 3 goals, btw...
Edgar is the first player in the club to reach 100 for one of skills...

Rhondda Rovers reserves win 3-0 away to Nor Azlan to maintain a 100% record in the League. The main team, using a 4-1-4-1 formation to try and nullify the main striker, played in the cup against Asiruh and, well, the second leg is going to be very interesting indeed.
Haberkorn was on fire, scoring a first half hat trick before assisting for the 4th and was rightly awarded Man of the Match.
