Davy Gravy Teams S64 Early Season Update

S17L17 - 5x5* rest 4* playing variations on 3-1-4-1-1. 1st in League & CL, out of cup in extra time against higher Q player. Happy with squad & budget, just built last ever construction to 260k stadium. Aim still CL spot & balance budget.

S12L12 - Full 5* 1st 11 playing variations on 3-4-3. Currently mid-table in League (so work to do there). Leading CL and need home win in cup to progress. Have held off buying, but with >$300M & 20T am ready now TM has settled down from early craziness, (but the number of Nord Gens has also reduced). Still confident of this team getting CL spot but more competitive League this season which is good. Will consider different formation if results are not forthcoming.

S7L7 15x5* playing variations on 3-1-2-1-3. 1st in League & CL, still in Cup. This team ex OMA League currently requires the least time of my teams, so can focus on budget in L17 & League position / transfers in L12. On track.

Buffs Mad considered todays opposition to be a key rival - one of the 3 other teams that could achieve full 6* in 1st week.

Buffs FC came away smiling after a 2-0 home win. Its unlikely to keep us top as another main rival plays the whipping boys later.

Our 32 yo AML that we took a punt on yesterday is doing not bad at ML with 2 goals in 2 matches and an 8 rating in both. DC/DMC Billy McNeill is still struggling - after swapping roles with Hansen and going back to DC yesterday and rating 8, he picked up a 6 at DC today. What to do.

I'll move DR into DC for a 3N-1- and see how he does coming on. It's his 6th Season so maybe its just that *headshot* time.

AEPRE FC Almost Ready for Competition
Today, AEPRE FC have tried their best to sign players into the squad. An investment of 600 tokens was made, and more is expected.
We have signed 5 scouts today, while bidding for players.

My season is just horrific. good start. Victory in the first match.
then lost the next four.. yes.. all..

six injuries. And today I bought an AML with shadow striker SA, he manage to survive 51 min in his first match and then injured.


If this continues, I am gonna be relegated

Today's matches for Rhondda Rovers saw the reserves play in the league due to the cup match against samsonspur.

The reserves toiled to a hard fought 1-0 victory, with Brian Johnston scoring the winning. Unfortunately, it came at a cost as Musebeliu was injured and out for 5 days (until the magic sponge came out and reduced it to 1 day), meaning he would miss the cup game and a change to formation.

Unfortunately, despite a strong effort, we lost 1-0 at home in the cup and while it is not over and still winnable, it will be a difficult task.

Also, a very random thing occurred today when wheeling and dealing free agents. I saw a few people bidding for a free agent and came across this (my name is in it but I don't really care):
