It also happened to me, a MC I had, either foot/ f-k specialist, as another friend, @t11 fan.
I can think some scenarios
- Although the player use either foot, he has a favorite side (so the program doesn't recognize footedness)
- The phrase "Although blah blah" it's random and appears from time to time to give some realism in the comments of the match
- There is no footedness (right/left/either), it's just a cosmetic for realism
* Actually there is no footedness as a word in the forum -it reads it like wrong word although if you search the word in google there are results. Also in wiki.
** google also it's a "wrong" word while wiki it's ok
*** "ok it's a wrong word

Of course maybe there is a combination of those three or something else
but only devs of Nordeus know it for sure, so I believe that in a few hours or tomorrow we 'll have a clear answer

The favoured foot and favoured side of a single footed player for FKs used to be commented correctly iirc. Recently it was wrong - fixed now? (Not looked recently).

Either footed players have always been commented incorrectly, at least since the New Commentary thing - whether it was consistent or random I don't recall. I don't recall either whether it appeared after the Big Commentary Debac....erm....Update or before, but I do remember at the time suggesting they forgot to put Either Footedness in the look up table.

Today my ST, the player from post #11, scored with a f-k (same position) and this time the position was perfect for him



I don't have any attacker with a left foot, so I set my best player to take left side f-k.

I think the favored side is unrelated to the preferred foot, it always have been this way.

Right footed player usually have favored side at right but it is not always the case.
Either footed player have favored side, it's true.

In real football, right foot players usually shooting f-k from the left side of the field (and the opposite).

Maybe you 're right but here there is no logic, a players shooting from the same side and the comment one time saying it's not favored and after 2-3 days saying that it's the perfect position.
so, if we let the footedness beside, then

Yeah its cetrainly not fixed as a comment for 'immersion' purposes. My Rightie FK taker only takes on the right and he was taking it from the 'wrong' side last night.

Whether it really is the wrong side or not is another matter.

We can't really draw anything from it but it would just be nicer if they matched imo (and even better if they were meaningful feedback). After all, we don't even know if when it says right it really is right and if the choice of taker relates to 'in-game position' at all or its just a random selection. >.<

But its nicer to pretend.

My ST Nasmark, a right footed player, taking F-K from the left side, which is not his favored side, got 4 goals from 5 F-K today (maybe that's the reason he didn't have a 5/5)
