free kick "favoured side"

Reading some interesting comments from some forum friends who are going deeper in the game (like Khris or Buff) about testing and observing the behavior of the players, I wonder how can I get conclusions from a match like this



I wanted to test a new MC I bought this season - Rai.
I set Rai - a right foot player, in right side f-k and I set Neymar - a left foot player, in the left side f-k.
Both comments were about this wasn't their favorite side but both scored !
I had 2 of 2 successful free-kicks

* last season I also had Neymar, kicking from left side but I wasn't reading such comments.
* the other team had about the same q with mine, 5* players.

I don't really think the foot matters. I have had right left and both feet free kick specialists and they score an equal amount of goals

Foot matters, but it's really negligible advantage... I always have high attack (+10) FK takers so the rest of the team can't match it... Player's form affects FKs more than foot...

Probably a commentary bug. Previously Either footed still had a wrong side. Lots of things have been 'unusual' last 7 days.

I'll set up my right footed DR to take FKs and see what happens - got limited options this season as somehow I've managed to collect 8 either-footed players.

Either foot players still have main leg, and they use other one equally good...

Commentaries are mostly randomly plucked from their template, so I would not read too much into it. Don't lose sleep over it.

well, I can't find some logic in experiments like that.
I did a lot of experiments about fast trainers and I found solid results, but this thing about the right players (for corners/f-k/positions) , the right foot, it's like if you have an equation x + 3Xy=24, what number is x ?

injuries are random ?
skill abilities are random ?
injuries are random ?
well, it's a theory that I don't have strong arguments to confront ...
but why sometimes it has logic while others not ?
How "random" is the random ?
