Squad Players

I have a game tonight against the bottom team obviously abandoned as they lose every game by at least 8 goals. Thing is he only has 14 in his squad and 2 of his first team are suspended. Means he only has 12 players available. I need the goals for my goal difference not just an awarded 3-0.
Question is will the game proceed as he only has 12 players or does he have to have 14 available ?

game will go ahead as i had same last season, if they don`t have 11 fit player`s then it`s a 3-0 win

edit; check his last 3/4 games and see if any injuries as this could the problem because we can`t see what player`s they have injured

Superb ! Thanks for that quick response. Just checked and he's had no injuries. His team a mess. All 30+ age and 4 GK as outfield players. I won 10-0 in first game and I need the goals to eclipse my rivals just behind me.
I'll update later.

That's something I fail to understand. How can overpowered team beat totally lame team by such small difference of 4 goals. Happened also to me. It's exactly the same twisted logic as if you have 80% ball possession but your opponent has shot twice more shots on goal than you

I had a league game where I was just waiting to join and as soon as it was time the game vanished. I checked and it was the 3-0 rule you speak of.

I didn't need the huge win for any practical reason. I am 40+ above the 2nd best goal difference and will crack +100 in league play again. It was annoying because it took goals from my players season and career stats. (which I manually keep track of). For whatever reason my ST's are having a slightly down year from last year and players behind them are getting the benefit. I already have 6 players with 20+ goals and a 7th who scored 10 (3rd ST who started 5 games and played 8 off the bench).
