Season 66 - Week 4

2 wins today; 3:1 in the champions league and 4:1 in the league.

Both goals conceded came off a double corner immediately after I subbed, so i'm assuming they haven't fixed that increased chance to concede a goal after making a substitution bug yet. Game was 3:0 in both instances at that point, so I wasn't risking much by subbing anyways.

Update from my end.

Rhondda Rovers went up against basket FC in the Champions League and, despite not being there to watch the match, won convincingly.



Worryingly, despite the sizeable win, my entire midfield were rated a 6. Hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Meanwhile, the reserves played the first League game of the season against Ponte-Noire and won spectacularly, with the new boy getting a couple of goals on his debut.



Annoyingly, despite two goals and an assist, my MR could still only muster up a 7 rating.

Lastly, on the mention of new boy, Rhondda Rovers made a new signing for one token and, though it is not a signing of intent, it is an improvement from before.

on good news beat the winner of the league the last four seasons. 2-3 he must be very angry right now Zzzzzz six in the morning/night

Season 15

The most important thing was that slow-starting Buffs FC got off to a good start in the league. And we did........

.....if you consider 2x 1-1 draws against crap teams a good one

The chase begins again. >.<

Also had a 6-0 win in the CL, Cup tonight.

Tomorrow we play against two hard teams, first one is leading the CL group by GD (we're 2nd) and is the best (highest rating) in the group.
Second match is against the only other team in the league that won both matches (we're currently in the lead by 1 GD)
Finances : We're officially out of tokens now after buying the newest player in our squad. I got the Poker face achievement. Yay!

Cup: Buffs FC win 5-1 at home in the Cup.

Goals from Andy Robertson (DL), Liam Henderson (MC), Jack Harper (ST) x2 and James Morrison (MC).

Tomorrow we'll find out if we'll lift our game against main league rivals as we play the joint leader (who knocked us out the cup last season) - without the suspended Liam Henderson (sent off in league earlier).

Little update at my end.

Rhondda Rovers played away in the Cup match against a relatively strong team in Soma Spor. Though I couldn't watch the match fully (but did briefly show my face for possession bonus), we won the game 2-1 to take a decent result back home. However, their goal being scored in the 90th minute could be huge.



Meanwhile, the reserves played Andia in the League and despite the early equalising scare (via yet another corner, surprise surprise), the reserves won 6-2 to keep us top of the League on goal difference. Interestingly, their second goal is the first time in a while I remember conceding in the League from open play (at least over a season).



Unfortunately, Haberkorn was injured and was going to be out for 3 days. Magic sponge. Now 1 day.
