Season 66 - Week 4

Lost in the CL 0-1 against the now leading with 3 points difference, Zafarabad FC, fortunately though, the other two teams are still behind us with 1 point each after they tied.
On the other hand, won in the league against one of our main competitors 3-1, leaving us in the lead as the only team winning all 3 games, and 2 points difference from the new #2.
We received the first injury of the season when our main striker got a 6 days injury, but he will be treated so he can play again from tomorrow

Overall, I like how we're proceeding and I can say we're doing good, but we still need to strengthen our defenses a bit as we didn't finish any game without conceding a goal, except for the first match of the season during preliminary round of the cup.

Buffs FC draw for the third time in a row - 3-3 this time in "A Tale of Two Halves", both tell the story of robbery >.< Everything the opponent touched in the 1st hal turned to gold - while we wallowed in crap. Nice counterattacking but jeez....

Update from my end.

Rhondda Rovers main team played the CL match against Big FC without me being able to watch the match due to crap phone signal, but despite this, we won 2-0 in a close game against the strongest team in our group.



Meanwhile, the reserves played Donatorii in the League and, despite an injury to Thomsen and not watching the match till late on, it was an emphatic victory.



This keeps us top of the League thanks to a superior goal difference.

Won today's league match 3-0, leaving all the other teams behind us. No cup match today so we should have a good rest before playing 2 matches within 3 hours difference tomorrow, first is against easiest team in CL group, second against a team in mid ranks in the league.

League: Buffs FC win a league match!

The Buffs rout an abandoned team 7-1 (hope its not abandoned because he saw the league I dragged him into after adding him last Season ) 19yo ST Jack Harper scored 4 with 2 assists

Buffs Mad bought an Academy GK from the market last night and gave him an outing today (7 rating) and he dealt with FKs and CKs well but "didn't see it" when they scored from a c-a.

It's still a bit of a concern that we've conceded in each league match. Too many chances given away so might need to move around the DL/DCs and DC/DRs. But we still need 3 or 4 more players so maybe the Duvet can be cast aside tomorrow for a spending spree?

PS I hate it when league friends support you in a match and then you go look and they're playing 'all friends' games. >.< Makes me look ignorant/ungrateful. O.o
