For sure, the first few levels there is way more people abandoning the game, than after say, five, because by then people have decided if they like it or not.. and of course in the higher levels still managers get rather attached to their teams

Your experience with the game indeed doesn't match mine, in any of my (six.. yeah six.) teams. (no disrespect and I didn't feel you were being rude either!)

My experience has been that the second half has been harder pretty much every season except the early levels. When I lose to someone in the first match, I try a lot harder in the second match and expect other managers to do the same.
