I wanted to buy at least one scout player next season, but so far after what I've seen, I'm having doubts.

I have seen some information and feedback for scout players on this forum. I have a doubt whether these players will perform well enough for their quality and cost. It seems that they cost virtual money too, besides tokens.

Depends on what Level you are and how lucky you are.
Better at times to buy via Negotiation or Buy a Norg/Fast Trainer at Auction.

With Scout also need to be patient as may take longer to get results and they are slower to Train.

That's what I thought; they appear to be a waste of tokens.
After what I've seen so far, it seems that it is a relatively big risk to purchase such players.

Thanks for the reply. I saw your post which shows your token bought striker with ratings 6-6. That is very poor for a player that cost so much.

64T of my last scout for now I think that are not well wasted, but in general, I have luck with what I buy, and 80/90% of my scouts were good-excellent players. Now too they changed the prices... was 50T and now the same player age 22 costs 64T-69T... too expansive, so I think best option are Nordgens, then negotiations taking always a look at the stats with their actual team... and then others of market or academy, that is what I like too.. Bayern academy bring me very good memories...
The last, my best ST, Zumalakarregui.. or a MC of 3rd season called Pizarro, that scored a goal near the 90' in the last match to give us the 3rd place been 5th before the match... what a memories

Im not a fan of scouts.

Id rather look for a high 5 star player who is one or two points off scout level on the market, as you can then target 18/19/20 yr olds.

Im also a fan of the negs list. Search for players that are 18/19 and play for teams that are a few levels above you, as those players wont be useful to their current owners - but will be the best non scouts for your level. I often get 5/6 good players off the negs for the price of a decent scout.

Scouts simply arent worth it in my opinion, even with thousands of tokens I wouldnt buy them unless it was a last resort.
