My amount of potatoes only was capable to win 0-1 against a team full of lettuces without ma attention in the Champions League... this team had x2 injuries 64' and 68' during the match... then I trained three times and I too had x2 injuries of 4 days, so I too joined the party.

2:1 lose in the League and 2:1 win in the CL today.. Our old superstar ST is still in shape it seems,as he scored 2 goals in last 2 matches..

League: Bit of an iffy performance again to win 6-0 against a bottom-feeder. Harper again had a cold day after a few hot. So I decided to shove on a second Striker to join him, not sure if he appeared or not, never saw anything from him.
After 2 seasons where my MCs and ST were the Glory Boys its now the second season where Wingers have dominated.

Singapore Lions got something to celebrate on the National Day.
We managed to beat the backmarker Verasenbrun FC 9-1. Unfortunately, we do conceded late in the game for no reason. A Tan out for 4 days, but the medical team has healed him so that he can be cleared to play in the Champions League R16 and also for him to go and attend the National Day Parade, which is held just about ten minutes after the match. Earlier, league leader T Dhegel FC defeated 9th-placed Saeid Algafar FC 3-1 away. So we are still stuck behind by a point.
Batman bin Suparman and Pavel Sochocki, then scored 2 goals each in the demolition of Wirda FC 5-0 at home in the Champions League R16 first leg.
Last sunday was a black sunday for manager Killroy. First his lvl 16 team FC Knudde was beaten in the champions league with 3-0. This was after an incredible first 6 matches were no goal was conceded and the team scored 30 goals. Somehow I got paired with a friend of mine who has the strongest quality team of the remaining 16. All other 14 teams are around 91 and he is 99,8. Bummer. My team fought for what it was worth but the team had an off day scoring only 6-7's.
Then it was THE league match for FC Killroy against the number one of the league. The team was highly motivated. There was even an bonus of 22,5 k if they would win the match. The win would put them in first place. But the advisary has proven to be a good coach who can mold mediocre players into good ones. The first 50 minutes were terrible and he scored twice. I was checking the stats and couldn't really understand what was happening. My scores weren't bad. Finally in the 60th minute we scored 1-2. We kept on pressuring. I inserted another attacker but alas, it didn't help. We lost the game. Statwise lightly in favor for me. Rating wise I almost scored 0,4 more then he did per player. The only thing that kept him in the race was his goalie with 5 saves.
So all in all 2 crucial matches lost in one day. Today is Cup day for FC Knudde. We are up against a lvl 18 team who is the monster club in the Cup. All other teams would be doable except this one. My luck again. Lets hope for a miracle. FC Killroy only has a normal league match. Lets try to win this to get a morale and selfconfidence boost.
Franchise team News:
Poor Sherman AFC have their League lead slashed to 1pt after they are embarrassed by the 12th placed side in a 5-0 loss. This represented a complete performance failure.
Afterwards the Manager said "Who cares. I have the job for life. :p"
A match in my league, not mine.
Ratings hell >.<
http://i61.tinypic.com/efqem9.jpg
Still, its not as bad as the ratings I saw a week ago for a rl match in the Scottish league. A team lost 4-0 and the newspaper ratings awarded 4 players.....2 O.o
Must have been a high quality match. >.<
For crying out loud, there goes the undefeated achievement... again

Won cup match 2-1 away with last min goal and won league match 4-0 and today drew our league match 2-2 giving away a late goal
League: The Buffs step it up a bit v 10th today at home and bang in 10.
Striker Jack Harper emerged in a basque, fishnets and a touch of lippy - yes, today he was hot:eek: (hat-trick). Right winger Ryan Gauld also popped in 3 to take his Season's tally to 40:cool:, 27 in the league. ;)
Craig Gordon participated in a nice counterattacking move: saving at the feet of the opposition striker then immediately distributing it out to Robertson (DL) > Baxter (AML) > Harper (ST) > Gauld (AMR) = Goal!
WTF

And to top that we lost the match

Gee, thanks Lord Nordeus
What. A. Win! Probably the best tactical game in Red Stars Munich history. A 2:1 Cup win in the quarter-finals first leg against a manager who is one level higher and has three Scouts as well as one World Class player in the lineup.

My guys played in defensive mode but they had 67% possession and their long balls were effective. Central midfielder Schmeer stole the show with a brace and a 9.1 rating.
I used a wide formation although my opponent stacked all his players in the middle.

We still have to deal with that annoying away goal in the second leg, but for the time being... let's enjoy that big win.
ok, now I am sure 'the machine' hates me today

Palace teams report, Monday 10th August...
A couple of days to report as I have been out of town...
Casuals had a Champions League match they'd rather forget. After the 6-1 heaviest defeat ever last season, they didn't even get the one at home to a team 7+AQ better, sporting 10 6* players in their starting line-up. Barring a miracle of the highest order, a discrete veil will be drawn over the Champions League for this season. Defender Freddy Jones had his 150th appearance in this game. A couple of League games saw the Casuals bounce back after the CL woes with a 4-0 away win, Hansen, Petrovski, Shaqiri and Zhelev scoring; and a 0-0 away draw. In the Cup, a team a level lower was entertained at home, and they put up a good account of themselves as Casuals won 1-0. Johan Shaqiri celebrated his 150th appearance by hitting the visitors before they had settled in with a 1st minute strike, so a slender advantage will be taken into the return leg.

Terriers started with a 1-0 away win in the League, Nicky Jones providing the goal on the stroke of half-time, then hosted a team of 2Q higher in the Cup, and take a 1-0 advantage in to the return leg. Xabier Moran put the icing on Ruben Gorrano's 50th appearance with the winning goal in the 65th minute. Back to the League, and the 8 game winning run came to a halt with a 1-2 defeat. The hosts were 2-0 up in 25 minutes, and the Terriers attack only breached the home defence in the 89th minute, Xabier Moran, making his 50th appearance in Terriers colours, providing a free-kick cross for recent signing striker Matt Hall to head in his debut goal. The Cup provided an away trip to the US and a 4-2 win to all but seal a Semi-Final berth for the Terriers. Aad Roemgens opened the scoring, and debutant midfielder Stanislav Dolgoborodov put Terriers back in front in the second-half before Ondrej Kadlec scored a brace to seal the win.

Desert Rats FC have suffered a mid-season slump, two defeats taking them perilously close to dropping out of the promotion race altogether. Striker Lorcan Ivory scored the goal in the first match, a 1-3 defeat, and midfielder Michael Attenborough put the Rats ahead early in the second match, but the rest of the team folded in the last half-hour and the final score was 1-4.
Double draws in the league. Both ended 2-2. Yesterdays match against opponent in 1st, we were 2-0 down at half time, ST Lewandowski netted 2 to get a well deserved draw.
League as it stands

Won league match. 4 -1
Got a crucial 1-0 away victory. Only goal came from MC Schulz from a corner. Noticed 2nd half, opponent in 1st supported against me. His match was a minute before mine and he lost 3-2 at home. Now we a point behind him..... Dont be scared buddy, WE WILL take that 1st position. :D
Arg, form crises at both teams

The Big Fat Badass with no loses in my League is finally down !! .. I just didnt get it how so far he managed to win so many matches considering all 14 teams are fully active 5-6* teams..
About the match.. Well alot happened, nordeus gave me the first injury of the season and a few yellows as well.. But the end was good.
Edit : Mazeto continues his dominance even against 2-3* higher than him..Now he has 186 goals in 213 matches (6 seasons)

14 injuries in 17 days... MC Vietz injured 4h time this season!!!

League: Before the match a mysterious stranger said to Buffs Mad "You're looking comfortable at the top. You must feel quite relaxed", then laughed. Buffs FC draw 1-1 with 7th. Nothing went right. The team played like they had never met before and Henderson sought to reclaim his bad boy title with a red card near HT.
We'll lose top spot in an hour. Someone will pay. ;)
So that's the 5th suspension this Season for the Buffs engine room.
Won champs league match 6-2 so thru 8-3 agg
*snap*
The Buffs go 2-1 behind but rally in the second half to win 6-2.....8-2 on aggregate.
Today is the tipycal day when you uninstall the game.
Yesterday, my GK titular felt injured for 5 days in minute 8 more or less, 99% condition.
Today I played 2nd match CL, draw 1-1 away and I'm thinking I'll pass.
Buuuuuut Nordeus had his machine gun waiting. First, my best player (ST 18 years old 55Q) felt injured in minute 2, one oppo made foul, yellow card, and my player won a broken leg, 14 days injured, good job!
Later, when we are arriving to extra time (1-1 again), one of my defenders get crazy and made a penalty and red card, minute 89'. My titular injured GK is specialist :( But the sub, not. Goal for the oppo and say goodbye to CL and probably all the season.
Incredible. The other manager didn't see the two matchs.
This is serious?
At the moment, this defender went to TM, and other 2 more.
Probably I continue the game, but this is grrrrrrrr Mejor no poner lo que pienso en castellano porque me estoy acordando de Nordeus y de su p... madre.
**** YOU NORDEUS for this idiotic score... 2* player who got 4s in 2 previous games, suddenly got 10!!!
Attachment 51628
And **** YOU for the 15th injury in 17 days of the season!!!
Attachment 51629
**** YOU!!!
Singapore Lions finally cruises into the lead.
I forgot to attend the match, but we managed to demolish the leader T Dhegel FC at their home with the score of 5-1.
About nine hours later, we won the 2nd leg of the Champions League R16, with a 3-0 away win over Wirda FC, who have a team mostly consists of one star players.
LOL...
Sinc the new ratings appeared in CL I win or loose for 1 goal....
Today we win 3-2, last 4 matches were:
defeat 2-1, victiry 3-2, victory 0-1 and today victory 3-2.
Don't know what to think...
roll and dice
cl round futher
away 1-3 home 2-2
lucky with my dice :)
Teams both same Q rating 137 Opponent all eleven speciall ability"s
Own Team 1 special ability''s (mc-dribbel)
League: 12-2-0 and atop the league by 1 point, with a game against 13th later today; so most likely 4 points.
Champions: Advanced to the QTR-finals, on the back of a 3-0 (6-2 agg) victory. Next round's opponent could be difficult since he's an active manager, with a 6* team and was packing power support when I faced him 6 seasons ago in the CL. If we advance to the semi's it'll be another 6* team, whom is chasing us in the league currently. They're very capable of catching us their :(, and potentially winning a triple crown, so the road to the final is a tough one. If we reach the final, well the boys will be heavy favorites.
Cup: Won first leg 3-1, key road match at a bad time tomorrow morning... I think I'll be able to catch it, but don't know for sure. Also have absolutely no idea how my opponent is still alive in the competition. She has a 13 player roster, 2 of which are the 0T free academy guys. She has suffered no injuries in the cup, has had all 11 starters healthy for all cup matches and is still in CL too. Must have found the magic cure, for the Nordeus Injury Plague...
When your main opponent in the league refuses to lose or draw against other teams, you have to beat him yourself.
That is exactly what my Red Stars did today, dominating most of the "six point" match and winning 3:1. Two goals scored on corners!
Once again, my starting DMC Martin Becker was the best man on the pitch. Michel Petermann doesn't have as much of an impact on the games (yet!), but I now know I can start him against anyone.

So, we take the first place back on goal differential. The best differential in the league, of course.
