Just got to the top of my league today, but jeez, this Shark League I am in is a killer.

Im a 6 star team, everyone else is 5 star apart from Fenerbache - who are high 4.
There is only a 3.7Q gap from my super team to the closest rival and the worst team in the league is only 7.9Q worse than me. No abandoned team and every single manager is turning up for games and are actively trying to win.
I've used a lot of tokens/packs to be the strongest team in this league, but other managers keep improving too. Its going to end up with several very strong sides failing to promote (and even fail to get in the CL next season) as inferior teams in other leagues get promoted. Looking at teams in the CL draw and looking at the leagues they are in there is no other league that has more than 3 Five star teams or better in it. Mine has 13 of the 14 teams, with the 14th not far off.
How is that fair?
Even though I'm top so far, I'm only 4 points off 10th place so could very easily find myself out of the running for even promotion. Top Eleven have given us a ridiculously hard league which some may say adds to the game, but with so much trolling going on, with active managers who have put a lot of tokens/pack into their teams having to go head to head for promotion whilst dead and semi active teams in other levels just swan through, its very unfair.
If you do not promote this season, you will start a lot stronger next season. This season might be a vacation (aka tank season) for you. Others that get promoted will face stronger teams next season and will not promote for sure. It just happens. I am in a similar league now. I do have the highest quality in the league but am number 8 right now. If it stays this way then so be it. I don't have a lot of problems with that. Troll results on the other hand........ If that is the reason I end up 8th then I will be angry :)

Oh much tougher match than expected. But I can't help feeling bad for this lvl 31 manager. He was on an impossible mission in the cup.
Cup levels ranging from 31-35. And I don't even think I have a chance at level 33.

Maybe I have a chance to pass in Cup vs my black beast, someone knows how to beat 5-3N-2 formation? I lost last 3 match vs this manager, he won my last League (only 2 points over me grrrrr).

First, a convincing win against a tricky mid-table side that challenges for the Champions League spots. Our 4:0 win makes it their worst loss of the season. New kid Ansel Mittag had a successful debut at DMC, with more than 150% in skills progress.
Second, a superb Cup performance against a side that held us to a 1:1 tie in the first leg. Striker Cosmin Vasilescu scored on three direct free kicks! First-choice DMC, Martin Becker, also had a strong day with 200% skills progress without being the man of the match... :cool:
At the end of Matchday 10, we climbed to second place in the league and have our eyes set on the top spot.

Due to the league being a lot harder this season I have scrapped playing friendlies, instead preferring to have every player at 100% (or as near as for every single game). I'm out of the cup after being given a team 4 leagues higher than me, whilst I have qualified for the knockout stages of the CL already. I'm rotating in the CL to give priority in the league.
Last season, my beast player Hayden Foster scored 68 and assisted 42 others. Obviously this season its harder to score, but with that in mind Foster is still managing to hit over a goal a game.

He is the league's top scorer at the moment with 12 from 8 games. The second closest challenger is on 8 goals - so not a lot of goals overall for any teams in the league, mainly due to how hard it is.
Having played 14 games this season Foster has 15 goals and 8 assists. Still more than impressed with that - as he has chipped in with winning goals quite a lot.
With 52 games now played Foster has 83 goals and 50 assists to his name. He will be power trained to the brink of being 10 star every season for the foreseeable in my opinion as I intend to make him my all time record holder for goals, assists and appearances.

Bad news, bad news and unexpected good news.
La Morralla FS didn't make the miracle and lost again vs 5-3N -2 formation.
I tried 3-3-2W-2, attack mentality, by both bands, normal trackling, and presion in all the pitch.
In half time I was losing 2-0 (global 5-2), then I changed to 3-5V-2, but nothing occurs (at leats he didn't scored more goals, and my Free Kick specialist failed two opportunities... When season ending, to the market!). Another time will be, now I'll try win CL and to be at least 2nd in League.
Jose FC lost vs 1sr (1st vs 2nd), strange match without goals until my team made a penalty. Only 3 points over the Leader.
Viva Satan FC, my lower level team (2), defeat in Cup a level 4 team 1-0 (global 2-1) and pass to next round. The Cup Surprise this season ;) And 2nd in League with same points than Leader.
Season extended in the cup following a 2-1 away win (2-2 agg.), with my 3n-5-2V struggling yet again against my opponents 3n-2n-3n-1-1. I changed to a 2n-5-3V in the 2nd half and my sub Elmer Cusba headed home the game winner. Never used that tactic before, but with illegal formations now a thing of the past, decided to get creative in search of the game winner.
League was a 3-0 win, as we remain tied atop the standings.
Palace teams news, 4th August...
Casuals first match was a home League match, and they came out top in a 5-goal thriller, goals from Liam Cashman and Omar Hansen (2) ensuring a 3-2 win that puts Casuals in 3rd place in the table. In the evening, a visit to Peru for the 2nd leg in the Cup. Johan Shaqiri and Daved Zhelev provided the goals in a 2-1 win, and Casuals go through 4-2 on aggregate.
Terriers lost their top spot in the table with a 0-2 defeat at home, and then entertained a Level 4 team for the Cup 2nd Leg match. Goals by Aad Roemgens (2), Craig Powell, Nathan Masegela, Ben Atkins and debutant Julien van der Plas gave a 6-0 win, for a 7-0 aggregate progression to the next round.
Desert Rats FC suffered their second defeat in a row, a first-half opener by Francisco Pelissier was not enough to stave off an away 1-2 defeat.

La Morralla FS won easily a weak oppo 7-0 more or less and up to 2nd place.
Is a hard League, probably 6-7 teams with active manager, and 2-3 semi abandoned.
Jose FC won 2-1 a hard team (a little bit better than me, think in this Gert LOL ). My old style 4-1-2-1-2ND works very well vs 3-3-2W-2, I won all oppos with this formation in this season.
Viva Satan FC will play late vs the Leader who uses 4-5-1V, I'll use the 3-3-2W-2 vs he.

Well Kylos, his player is an eight star player so he is not getting that much XP after a match. Normally around 25 exp apparantly so getting a MVP is a nice boost then.

there is a bit of delay from action events to gain, but seems to work
like the build up flow
what you know uneven ratings, but subs are still not shown, that's a pity. not even my halftime sub:rolleyes: in stats they are still rounded to nearest number. thats like school, you can now have a small 8 and a big 8 and the rating for big 8 is 9. confused? you will quickly get it ;)
You can also keep track of your opponent, maybe even use one players bad day?
