Also I had no idea this can happen! It tells us in Rules & Prizes tab that it will always be at a neutral venue but I'd be happy to host a final! I assume there is still no home bonus for possession though.

This, though I think Sanguis misunderstood the whole thing slightly. Girly didn't make it to the final, but they used her stadium for the final. I agree with you, though, that it costs you nothing if they use your stadium, so you shouldn't get anything in return, and July has already explained how the stadium is chosen for finals.

I wasn't in the cup finals because my team was already eliminated when i took over, so next season will be see me challenging for it.

Why are you quoting me? There's nothing wrong with not making it to the final. It'll be tougher next season, though. The level 1 Cup is exclusively for level 1 teams. Once you get to level 2, you can face other levels, but the gap shouldn't be too big under the upcoming new format. You'll still need a full squad of 5*, though, which you should buy next season. Your players will all drop a star tomorrow.
