I think I read somewhere in this forum but I cannot find it again.
Does it matter when I assign the skills to my players?
I usually do it after every training\match. Can it be wrong?
I have collected a lot of skill points and don't want to sell any player.
Moreover, does it matter that in 2 days the next season will start?
I assign my players' points until they are just a point away from their next star because gaining a star will greatly reduce their training speed. That also puts them on the negotiations list so I can get tokens for my players.
Also, if you save it until next season, you can renew contracts for cheaper, and then assign the points.
my tip if you have skills saved and a player is on two year contract wait till they have 1 year left as when new season starts their value goes down meaning you save on re-signing ( you pay 10% to them with market value) them to a new contract, once you have on 3year contract add the skill and their market value goes back up.
a forum admin once wrote that after someone's contract is up, you have 10 days in the new season to sign them despite their contract being up. best to wait for that

does it means that the growth speed decreases the more as a player is close to its low bracket? :eek:
My player has 39 quality (6 stars) and has 15 skill points, can I assign his skill points and get him 7 stars? Yes next season, he will drop to 6 stars. But I just want to see him with 7 stars for the few days remaining of the season.Quote:

That's interesting. So should I assign skill points as soon as I get them? I have a 5* MC just a point away from 100 average who's gaining points pretty fast with 42 now. Remember the 6* defender I had at the start of the season? He's more valuable but only got 34 over the whole season so far.

My 22 YO scouts gains sps i'd say almost if not sometimes faster than the normal 22 i had o.o

I tend to think it is best to assign the points asap because they will perform better immediately. If you are sure you can win with the players banking the skill points, by all means, save them and win, but in my league, it is very close for the top 4 teams and I want to win everything, so I take any advantage I can. Money is not a problem, quality is.
You can do like Potemy or right after the game, depend on player ages and he's chance to become a new star :)
